I recently had the pleasure of staying at AMR Hotel in Durrës, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and professionalism. The reception team was incredibly helpful, making check-in seamless and offering great local recommendations. The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and immaculately maintained. Our room was spacious, with a stunning sea view, plush bedding, and all the amenities we could need. Every detail—from the elegant decor to the cleanliness—spoke of quality and care. One of the standout features of AMR Hotel is its on-site restaurant, Al Oeste. Dining here was an experience in itself. The menu masterfully blends local Albanian flavors with Mediterranean and international influences. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The seafood was particularly exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and expertly cooked. The ambiance of the restaurant is both refined and relaxed, making it perfect for both romantic dinners and casual family meals. And the service? Absolutely top-tier—attentive without being intrusive. What really sets AMR Hotel and Al Oeste apart is their dedication to excellence. You feel genuinely cared for as a guest, and the attention to detail in both hospitality and cuisine is truly impressive. Whether you're visiting Durrës for a beach getaway, business trip, or romantic escape, AMR Hotel is a top-tier choice. And even if you’re just in town for the day, a meal at Al Oeste is a must.

Very satisfied with my stay at amr. The staff was very attentive in the front desk and restaurant. The rooms were very comfy and spacious. Definitely coming back.

Hotel directly on the beach with great sea views from a large balcony. The staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms are modern and large. Plentiful and varied breakfast. The hotel also had a lovely restaurant opposite, on the beach.

A couple of small issues with the room but these were quickly resolved by the staff

Lovely view of beach. Very spacious rooms and ideal location.

One glass panel of the shower was missing and water got everywhere when using shower. I reported to receptionist and said it was due to be fixed in few weeks. If you are having breakfast only you are unable to purchase drinks inside the actual hotel but there is a beach bar that you can use during the day/evening.

I would add rapm to stairs (when you come out from the elevator, to the left side..) we had a baby in the stroller and it would be much more comfortable not to disturb anyone to help with bringing the stroller down and then up 🙈 but guys from the bar, waiters and even cleaning ladies were always helping me, they all are very friendly and nice 💗💗💗

The staff was very professional, they're were very kind and helpfull. The hotel has a perfect location just in front of the beach, the rooms are spacious and clean, the balcony on 4th floor has a beautiful view. The restaurant has good Italian cuisine.

Lovely hotel opposite the sea. Very clean and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Bedrooms were spacious with walk in shower, ac and balcony.. We had a room with a seaview which is recommended. Breakfasts had a good range and we ate most nights in the beach restaurant attached to the hotel as the food was so good and reasonably priced. The pool area is very clean with sunbeds and free sunbeds are also provided on the clean, private beach.

Coffee facilities in the room would have been appreciated.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the hotel, we loved it. Thought to leave a detailed review in appreciation of their service: Main review points from us: - the hotel was well responsive to our messages prior to arrival, in a timely manner (and arranged our taxi from airport to hotel, it was smooth). - it's a really beautiful hotel, rooms and beach front, and visibly better than neighbouring hotels. Also really clean, and constantly being cleaned in shared spaces during the day (however - suggestion: the ladies mopping the pool water spillage can perhaps wait for pool users to come out before they mop, their constant presence makes you feel like you're inconveniencing them and makes you leave the pool earlier than intended). - tasty dinner at their restaurant (we loved the seafood). Restaurants in the area all seem to have similar menus, so we stuck with them to not risk disappointments from other restaurants. - good breakfast range, was definitely satisfying. - active and attentive hotel team, from the receptionist, waiters, beach assistant guy and cleaners...you could tell their effort to make your stay as soft as possible. - we utilized the recommendations they gave us for some activities (wine tasting at Abaia, spa at Epidamn white sensation), and all were really good. The absence of a spa at the hotel didn't detract at all from our experience, as we still got a lovely spa experience at a hotel that they recommended as well. Our overall taking - 5/5!

The location was good, beach, sunset and seaview rooms excellent 👌

Limited, correction no hospitality received during breakfast service. No welcome 'Good Morning', 'would you like a coffee' or tables being cleared. Had to ask for coffee and the response was rude - why are you disturbing me or asking me to do something. A self-service coffee machine was implemented last morning of stay, which was covered in dust from previous seasons usage 🤦. Furthermore, no description signs on any breakfast buffet items, this could result in an allergic reaction and civil action against hotel or even criminal proceedings 🤦. Reported a leak from the rear of the toilet in the room on the first night. The reception dealt with professionally and reiterated the next morning that the technician would attend to the issue. Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved, the chambermaid and we between just placed and changed daily a bath mat to soak up the leak. No follow-up from management or offer of a different room. Good customer service would have been to follow-up, not for the customer to resolve themselves 🤦. Obviously, all the above should be in place and checked by a 4 star management team. I don't blame any of the above on the staff, all is down to lack of training and good management. The management team needs to reassess and review its processes and training immediately or more bad reviews will follow. To end on a positive majority of staff are pleasant and helpful 👏.

Staff was very polite and helpful, rooms clean and spacious. Hotels restaurant on the beach was super, and service 💯 I warmly recommend this hotel.
