How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Clean big room, quite far from town centre so keep in mind when booking. Air conditioning, basic amenities.

There are no blinds on the windows and a lot of light comes in in the morning.
Adequate quality price and consistent with the description, it is important to read the specifications, there is nothing that is not noted. Quiet and cozy place and a comfortable 20 minute walk from the center following the river. Angie was friendly and communication was good, she even offered me a plate of home-cooked food to try. Although it says there is no kitchen, you have a small kettle that allows you to prepare something.

Sometimes is not that comfortable to get down from the second floor to the first to use the toilet, but not a very big deal.
I had a good time in Angie's Shared Villa. Everyone here was pretty nice with me. The room was comfortable and had all that I needed. Also the house has a big terrace and two cuties cats who sometimes join you when you sit there. I think the location is convenient because it is a quiet neighborhood and not very far from the centre (just 20 or 30 minutes by foot). Highly recommend!

The house was cold. We had an air conditioner in the room. But outside the room especially the bathroom it was really cold. But that's probably normal in December. I don't recommend traveling there in winter.
It was clean and fair accommodations for this price. Including towels and sheets. Good contact per booking, quick responses. The owners were friendly.

The bathroom. It has a door to the outside which was difficult to lock so didn’t feel so secure.
Owners were very friendly. Room was very large and had a heater and was comfortable. Very clean room.

Unfortunately, the room was freezing due to a problem with the AC which the staff tried their best to fix. However, even after fixing it, it was still painfully cold. You had to keep the AC on 24/7 to be able to sleep, and the way between the room and the bathroom was so cold that we had to actually think about brushing our teeth before taking our outside clothes off because of the cold. However, the water in the bathroom sink was so hot you could burn yourself, with no normally warm water. It was very uncomfortable, unfortunately. Finally, the room didn't have a trash bin, which also wasn't convenient.
Angie and her mom were absolute sweethearts The room is clean and spacious The beds are very comfortable The location is not bad (about 25 mins of walking from the city center)

Wifi was very weak and didn't really work in the room.
Host was very nice and the room was really spacious and there were very cute cats around. She let us leave our bags after check out.

We stayed only one night, but were very comfortable there. Huge bed and nice crisp cotton sheets. Bathroom large too, and half a shower screen (many Albanian showers have no curtian or screen). And both cats greeted us when we arrived. No kitchen, but there was a kettle in the bedroom which was useful (no cups or any dishes/cutlery). Host was accommodating to our late arrival and answered questions we had about transport etc.

The room was very clean and spacious. But it got pretty warm inside (there's no airco, only a fan). The City center is around 15 to 20 minutes by foot.

Only problem I had was fan. It was too hot in Tirana and fan available in room was not in good condition and was not working properly.
It was really nice experience staying at Angie's Villa, it was only 20 mins walking distance from centre. We were welcomed very nicely and host was very helpful.

The room is spacious and bright. The place seems authentic. It was easy to find with given directions. Normal kettle is missing but has alternative which was enough for us. All good, thank you!

too cold inside, quite far from the center and it’s hard to find a bus stop it is hard to find an enterence when you first arrived and we had a problem with finding right phone number, however as we found it, the contact via whatsapp was good
