Everything was great – in the morning we could hear birds and cicadas, which created a very pleasant atmosphere. In the afternoon, however, a strong wind picked up, which was a bit unexpected. We were told that the area is generally windy, perhaps due to the hotel’s location in an olive grove on a rocky hillside

Nice garden and it has parking

Overall, this was a very uncomfortable experience. We booked a “standard triple” room for two nights. While we knew the room had no balcony, we were shocked to find that it also had NO proper window – the only window opens into the hallway. This detail should have been clearly stated in the room description. The room felt extremely cramped and claustrophobic. For me, it was quite suffocating to stay there for two nights. If I had known this, I would never have paid €120 for two nights. The room appears to be a converted section of a hallway, with thin walls – even sounds from the lobby are clearly audible. Since the window faces the corridor, we could hear every footstep outside. The bathroom was problematic: the shower water did not drain properly, leaving the floor wet, and there was no ventilation, which caused a bad smell. Water from the bathroom even dripped into the room, leaving the floor dirty after a while. There was no clothing rack in the room, and the shelves were dusty. Although the Booking.com listing states that card payments are accepted, we were told they only take cash. When we asked to cancel due to this, they said we’d have to pay a 30% fee. Only after insisting a lot did they finally provide a way to pay by card. Breakfast was disappointing, with only two options – omelet or traditional pancakes – and you can only pick one. When we asked for an extra plate, we were told it would cost extra. There were no beverage options beyond milk, coffee, and water. At the beach, there are sunbeds, but you can only use the very last row for free; the others require payment. This is a new hotel and has many shortcomings. But I think the first thing they should do is prioritize guest satisfaction instead of calling everything an “extra.” Every concern was met with a “🤷🤷‍♀️” attitude. Unfortunately, this was our worst two-night stay in Albania.

    Property response:

Dear Ms. Selin, First of all, we are sorry that you left such a negative review about us. The room you stayed in is the cheapest one listed on our Booking.com page, and naturally, in this case, we did not hide anything, as you had access to the photos and room description before making your choice. If you compare the price of this room with our other rooms, you will see that the prices are at least double. In every hotel, standards vary depending on the price that guests choose to pay. The room is suitable for three people to sleep in, and we’ve had other guests stay there who have not complained about any feeling of claustrophobia. Perhaps this is a personal sensitivity you have toward closed spaces. Regarding the shower, we can confirm that there have been no drainage issues. As for cleanliness, we believe it’s unfair to make such claims, as our rooms are cleaned thoroughly every day by our staff. Concerning the card payment: we regret the inaccurate statement, but we are very clear that nowhere on our Booking page does it say we accept card payments. On the contrary, it clearly states “no card needed” and “pay at the property.” Next time, we kindly suggest that you read the policies of each property carefully before booking. Additionally, our staff assisted you and successfully processed the card payment. Regarding the breakfast: in hotels around the world, breakfast is usually simple and standard — it typically includes an omelet or pancakes. If you’re looking for more variety, you might want to consider staying at a hotel that costs €1000 per night, where perhaps you will be more satisfied. As for the sunbeds: we offer designated spots in the last row, reserved for our guests, and this is clearly stated for the beach section. We are a new hotel and we strive to go above and beyond for our guests, but sometimes we come across difficult clients who find fault with everything. Respectfully, The staff of Atlantid Hospitality Hotel

I like the location, in less than 3 minutes walking you’re at the beach. And yeah, talking about the beach. The area is amazing. You can enjoy the sea waves, the calmness of the mountains, the very positive environment and most of all the very sociable, welcoming and great staff. They are all doing the most out of it! I felt like at home and I was wishing to stay much more☺️ also the little cold, refreshing, gorgeous lagoon they have in their beach…the most special detail I have seen in Qeparo! You can also find activities such as paddling or even dancing! I became part of a Latin dance class they were organizing and I had so much fun! The hotel is of a very good quality, the stay was so comfortable, so clean and very welcoming. I would definetely go there more and more times. I loved the breakfast they are offering! They were so kind to ask whether I preferred the traditional or English breakfast but of course I chose the famous ‘kila’. It gives me a sense of home, reminds of good old times at family. Overall, a wonderful choice to escape to the beach!

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel in Qeparo! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such warm and genuine hospitality by the owners and staff , it truly made me feel at home. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, offering everything I needed for a relaxing vacation. What made the experience even more special was the beautiful interior design, decorated with traditional Albanian elements, something unique that you rarely find elsewhere. It gave the whole place a charming and authentic feel. The beach was only a 2 min walk away, which was perfect for enjoying the sea at any time of day. I loved every moment of my stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and culturally rich escape in southern Albania. I can’t wait to come back!
