The location of the hotel is perfect, and having a parking space was a huge plus, as it made me feel safe leaving the car and gave me peace of mind. Mr. Sofokli is an excellent person, it honestly feels like he is available 24/7 at the reception, always ready to help. Tony, who manages the bookings, is also a wonderful person and makes an excellent coffee with his machine during breakfast. The breakfast was average but satisfying. There were two fruit options (melon and watermelon), delicious cakes, pancakes, fried and boiled eggs, sausage, toast, teas and juice. It was more than enough for me. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and truly appreciated the warm hospitality.

The bathroom doesn’t have a proper shower box, so it tends to get wet after showering, but it wasn’t really an issue for us.

Hotel Aulona was great, we loved it. The staff was lovely and helpful. The rooms were pretty much the same as advertised. The only thing is you dont know which balcony you were gonna get (we got one with not exactly the best view). The location is literally 5 minutes at most from the main promenade. The breakfast was also an amazing feature, though I would prefer a bit more "salty" options.

The food was not fresh and of good quality.

Truly above and beyond customer service from the moment we arrived with my sister having sprained her foot while traveling. We got offered a new room on a lower floor that was also bigger. They offered to help a lot, and you could tell they were such genuinely good people. The hotel was very clean, close enough to the center (except when on crutches, but we got a great taxi driver recommendation from the hotel), but otherwise you could walk to the center, different beaches or to the bus. The breakfast was also good with different options, like eggs, pancakes, pastries and fruit. If I ever come back to Saranda, I will definitely come back here. Excellent location right in the heart of Sarande. Very clean providing the essentials for a short stay. Excellent value for money and the personnel were very friendly. Definitely try the restaurant called Isumi right next to the hotel, it’s a family-run restaurant with fantastic dishes and great prices.

The fact that you had to walk many stairs to reach the hotel since it’s in the main road right above the coastline, but it was not a serious problem

The rooms are a bit smaller than expected

So clean the bed sheets and towels and everything 🤍 the owner is amazing and his family. His kind & lovely wife and son who never hesitate to help. Location is perfect for night life (walking in the city center, restaurants, bars)

Nothing honestly except thar there r many stairs from the city centre so if you hv a baby with a baby strollers or disabled person in the family and you don’t drive might be an issue unless if you are ok to use taxi.

Very friendly and sincerely hospitable staff, always ready to help with any question. The location is great. The breakfast was tasty and fresh. Very clean new room, good bed linen, and a convenient bed. I'd strongly recommend this location to everybody and will stay here if I'm back to Saranda one day.

Everything was awesome!

I had a great stay at Hotel Aulona in Saranda. Everything was very clean, the breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Bed was pretty comfortable

There was a couch in my room that I think had something living in it. From the outside everything looked clean, but when I was sleeping last all I could hear was random ticking and buzzing sounds. I tried to smack the couches and they stopped momentarily and then started again in a different place INSIDE the couch. Was driving me nuts. Also, I thought it was very odd that the staff would often come into my room whilst I wasn’t there. This was noticeable with the blankets folded and I whilst I appreciate the gesture, I had all my valuables in that room including my passport. So I didn’t like they kept coming in without my permission, as the stay wasn’t over yet. Overall quite strange, definitely not worth the steep price.

Run by a lovely couple and their son. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Absolutely spotless. Daily room cleaning provided. Huge varied breakfast. Very good location just up some steps from promenade and short walk to bus stop. We loved it.
