We loved our one-night stay at Bohem. Berat is beautiful and you can walk to the hotel which is in a very old, cobbled part of the town accessible only on foot. The hotel owners/staff were incredible, very helpful and kind.

The only challenge is the access: I would not recommend it for elderly people or for those with disabilities. I also suggest preparing a separate bag and taking only the essentials with you, as carrying large suitcases up is quite tiring and difficult. But then again, that is the price you pay for the privilege of staying right in the heart of Mangalem.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is beautifully decorated with excellent taste. The breakfast was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the location is simply wonderful.

Wish we had a room with a view and the shower was almost over the toilet, so the floor flooded a bit, but it was all part of the experience.

Great location. The view from the breakfast room is amazing and the staff were very accommodating. We enjoyed wine up on the top floor while exploring the city. It’s quite a hike up, so I recommend downsizing to only what you need to bring. We only had one night, but if I would do it again I’d book two to see the canyons. Great value for money.

Challenge regarding parking. A bit difficult to drive close to the hotel with lots of luggage. Even though we were informed that parking was free we ended up paying for parking in the town due to traffic and lack of offloading opportunities at the hotel.

Hotel Bohem is a hotel that absolutely respects- and even upgrated my experience of- the historical Mangalem neighborhood. It is a renovated version of what used to be an old home and I was very glad to see what a good care they have taken of the property. The owners and the staff were equally friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it for everyone, especially the traditional albanian breakfast with an amazing panoramic view of part the city of Berat, the river and the beautiful Gorica neighborhood across it. Thankful for my stay there!

All aspects were found to be great - no complaints at all. would happily stay again when next there. If there was one thing I would have liked Tea & Coffee making facilities in the room.

This was the best experience we had in Albania. Beautiful view and location. The owner of this family-run hotel provided the best service and recommendations. He was always available and made sure we had everything we needed. He arranged transport for our excursions, cheaper than a taxi. He offered excellent local wine and raki, as well as anything else we wished for. If you’re looking for a pleasant, authentic experience that leaves you with warm and lasting memories, this is the place. We miss it already, and if we ever return, this is where we’ll stay!

Hotel Bohem Berat is gorgeous! It is located below Berat Castle and has the post incredible views from the breakfast room across the historic town of Berat. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and we really enjoyed our one night stay.

The owner and his family were amazing and very accommodating. We even got fresh (and delicious) figs. The hotel is beautiful with a medieval vibe and the view from the restaurant is unbelievable. Breakfast was abundant, with fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice and great coffee

I would add some hotel appropriate commodities like a water kettle and some shampoo and cream as there is only soap. You will have to adjust to the very small bathrooms. But that's understandable as the hotel is accommodated beautifully in a very old house and every inch of the space is utilized.

The location and design are amazing. You can sit on the terrace and enjoy a beautiful view of the city. The design is nice and the property is comfortable. The hosts are very generous and helpful. Make sure you pack a backpack because the property is in the old city and you need to climb upstairs to get to it.
