The hotel is located right in the center of Berat, yet on a very quiet street, which makes it a perfect spot. You can’t park directly in front of the hotel, but it’s easy to drop off your luggage and find parking nearby. All the staff we met were incredibly friendly. The room itself was small but had everything we needed. Our highlight was definitely the view from the terrace—especially in the evening, when the city lights created such a lovely atmosphere. Sitting there with a drink was just perfect.

Parking is complicated and we ended up parking 2km from the location, this is normal as the hotel is in the old center, but it could be communicated a bit better when booking. The room was freshly renovated, but there was construction dust left behind in the room and also a bunch of construction tools and buckets outside, next to our bedroom window. Breakfast is identical every day, so it might get a bit repetitive if staying multiple nights.

Great location in the old town, close to reastaurants and bars and also walking distance to the old fortress. Newly renovated building, clean rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast was super rich and included fruits and vegetables.

The property was well kept and the room was very clean. Having the long squeegee in the bathroom was a big plus. The views from the terrace were gorgeous and the breakfast spread provided was delicious and plentiful!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Borkland in Berat. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Breakfast on the terrace was absolutely breathtaking — stunning views combined with fresh, delicious food. The staff were incredibly responsive and helpful via message. They arranged a taxi transfer from the airport to Berat, and another one to the bus station when we left. Their efficiency made our trip so much easier, and we’re very grateful for that. We highly recommend this place!

Hotel Borklad was a fabulous 2 night stay in Berat. The hotel was very bight, spacious and clean - with a very comfortable bed and high quality linen. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning and the location to the main attractions of the town. The hotel felt small and intimate, with friendly staff.

If you are with car, there is no parking as house is in walking street. But there was paid parking about some hundred meters down the hill and it was really ok. Free parking spots were little bit more far.

Everything was near, absolutely in center and rooms were nice, breakfast simple but really okay. You hear some noice but didn't expect total silence while we are in city center. It didn't bother us as really was not loud.

Room was a little noisy being underneath the breakfast terrace and room looked a little tired but was comfortable and had everything we needed.

The breakfast terrace views were great and the breakfast itself was the best we'd had in Albania. The location was perfect for exploring Berat and the smell of the jasmine flowers was incredible. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.

The 4 person (1 twin + 2 single) room was in the lower ground with small windows to pedestrian foot level.

Great view from shared terrace and delicious breakfast. Check in was smooth and card payment was accepted. Staff are very friendly.

Lovely breakfast, good location, helpful team. The room was clean and very comfortable, although you may want an eye mask if you are a light sleeper, as the blinds do not black out the room and the call to prayer/ local cockerels may wake you up early (this will be common throughout Berat!). The shower was nice, hot and powerful. The WiFi was good, but bits of our room were a bit of a blackspot for coverage. Overall a pleasant stay to enjoy Berat!

The room was really small but it was ok for one night. Our room gives to the small street (not busy) but we could hear all the noise from outside (not much, but not confortable)
