Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Saudi ArabiaThe breakfast should really be improved, I had the worst omlet in my life. The hot water was not working. The TV was not working.
The hotel is very clean and with a unique classic design, the view at Tirana was nice.

AlbaniaOur stay was for one night, and unfortunately, the experience was not the best. The check-in process was unclear—we had to ask for all the details, and despite having a reservation, we were initially shown the price list, which was confusing. No directions were given to find our room. The air conditioning did not work properly and made a lot of noise, disturbing our sleep. Breakfast was very basic, nothing special.

United KingdomThe locations is far from the city centre, you need taxi every time you wanted to go to downtown, the bus is every hour, not really very accessible to different tourist spots, far. I don't like the toilet it's been broken especially the door, when you showered it gets wet all over, been reported it but no one fix it, room is not too big but comfortable. They don't clean every day. Breakfast is okay, same every day, not a buffet breakfast.
I like the bed its big, beautiful hotel uphill, the staffs are very accommodating., I like the menu on the list, there is a mini bar.

FranceThe furniture in the room looked a bit old (especially compared to the pictures on Booking), staff was helpful but seemed to be annoyed by having a guest at the hotel (so I didn't feel welcome at all, except the housekeeping staff who was very friendly), the hotel is located uphill which makes its access a bit difficult, some things could be repaired in the room (nothing big but it makes the hotel looking shabby), there is not much around the hotel and the hotel restaurant quality is not good so I don't recommend it. Electricity cuts happened (only for 5 to 10 minutes but several times, on several days)
Comfortable room with the view on Tirana city, quite well equipped and the hotel was pretty quiet at the time of the year. There is free Wi-Fi everywhere, a roller shutter on the window, a parking lot and toiletries in the bathroom. The lights in the rooms are good, especially in the bathroom.

AlbaniaThe mattress was very uncomfortable and resulted in both of us having back pain after our stay. We did not get good rest, sleeping in this bed. Also we would have liked if our room (like the rooms next door to us) would have had at least one comfortable chair (like an armchair or couch). As it was, there was no place for us to truly relax in the room (which was important to us, as we were expecting a room that would allow us to relax and work on some personal projects on our laptops).
We liked the size of the room and the view of Tirana. We also liked the value (the price was very reasonable). Also, the breakfast was very good (better than we expected).

Czech RepublicAll was good, just the wifi quite poor, but I experienced that almost everywhere in Albania.
Very satisfied with the stay in this hotel. Spacious and clean room, comfortable bed, covered parking spaces, tasty breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is in nice, quiet, uphill neighborhood, good if you have a car and want to visit places out of the center like Dajti Express or Bunkart2. Overall - great value for the money.

GreeceI booked a room for one night at the price of 60 euros from the reception, quite far from the center. Since I had tried to find it on Booking.com, I asked the staff member, who gave me the correct name of the property. He told me it was 52 euros on Booking.com. Indeed, it was 52 euros, but when I tried to book it, the price for the cheapest deluxe room without a balcony went up to 63 euros, so I ended up paying at the hotel with a credit card. I informed the staff member that I might stay another night. The room was initially comfortable and clean. The next morning, I asked where I would have breakfast, which was missing from the restaurant. After much effort, they brought me a plate with feta cheese, tomato, cucumber, a fried egg, and a bottled juice. It was the worst breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. In the end, I decided to book another night in this beautiful but disappointing hotel. I did this mainly because I had difficulty moving due to the many bags I had with me, but also to leave them this “review” as a gift. For the next night, I booked the same room for 52 euros through Booking.com. The staff was absent and almost nonexistent. The room for the second night wasn’t cleaned at all, nor did they leave shower gel, shampoo, or towels. I didn’t even bother to try the breakfast. The only good thing about this room was the view of the city through the window, as I couldn’t open any window or use a balcony.
“Comfortable parking, and view of the city!

United KingdomThe rooms had issues with damage and the wood rot which was caused by the leaking shower pan allowed some form of larvae out onto the bathroom floor. Safes were not functioning and also not fixed meaning they could be removed even if locked
The staff were really friendly and helpful to us throughout our stay. They were really supportive when we raised concerns about the leaking shower pan that had caused wood rot on the door frame. We were moved room the same night, the new room had its own issues but it was a nice base with a beautiful view over Tirana. Parking is good out the front and under the hotel. Slighting shutters on all windows for privacy and blackout. Great access to highways.

United KingdomThey gave us a room when we reach there, the AC was not working and lots of insects were on the curtains. We informed the staff and they changed the room. The AC on the next room also not working, again we informed them. They changed that room as well. The AC on the third room as well not working, we were fed up with that because we reached there at 19:00 and after 19:45 we haven’t got any fully working room. Then they gave us the 4th room and finally the AC was working, also it was a Suite room. They didn’t charge any extra for the upgrade. Even though it was not our fault, the staff looks Fed up and annoyed while changing rooms. Won’t recommend to anyone. Breakfast also not too great.
