How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The property was immaculate, clean, very fresh and new looking. It was also much bigger than we expected with a balcony in every room (including the bathroom!). There was also 3 air con units and very comfortable beds and bedding. We were greeted upon arrival and shown to the car park.

Very nice and well equipped apartment close to the center. Parking directly in the building and supermarket next door. We really enjoyed our stay!

A cozy, clean and modern appartment, very close to the centre of the city. The host was very gentle. We delayed almost an hour because of a terrible traffic jam but he was patient to wait and welcome us. Value for money ther appartment, I fully recommend it.

Nothing - everything was perfect.
The apartment and the hosts were fantastic. The apartment was spotless and within easy walking distance to the main part of Shkoder where there are lots of bars, shops and restaurants and also a short drive to Lake Shkoder.. The apartment is well equipped, comfortable and air conditioned, which is essential in August! The host met us at the apartment on arrival and was really helpful, even helping us book an excursion to Lake Komani and the Shala River, which was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

A new and beautifully designed apartment in a perfect location, fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Spotlessly clean, spacious rooms with large, comfortable beds, washing machine, and dishwasher. The location is super convenient, close to restaurants, cafes, public transportation, a great local market, supermarkets, bakeries, and all essential services within easy walking distance, and yet quiet and peaceful. The hosts are wonderful and kind, always available with a smile and patience. They took care of every detail and made us feel truly cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Nothing at all - Showers could do with a shower curtain as my littlen made puddles which I had to dry with the mop n bucket.
Fab contemporary place with shops downstairs. Two bathrooms with toilet and shower was a big plus for a family of 5. Host went above and beyond, from recommending places etc and even took me in his car to find food late at night when we arrived due to flight delay.

The kitchen utensils were really poor. There was only one frying pan and a very large saucepan. Not much else The kitchen knives were dangerous and only one small mug. Walking home at night the pavements were not very well lit
Great apartment nice and spacious and light It was nice being in a traditional neighbourhood to see how the local people live with markets and selling fruit and veg on the street. About ten minutes walk from city centre

very modern apartment. The apartment is in a normal neighborhood very close to tourist attractions. We loved being part of a community but walking distance to everything. The management couldn't be any more helpful. nothing was a problem. we will definitely use this apartment as our Hub to return to for our mountain trips.

Needed more cooking utensils and pots for cooking. No tea towel for drying dishes. Knives to eat with were a little dangerous. Very noisy area with market owners rolling up and down their shop front metal doors. Roosters nearby at daybreak.
Lovely apartment. Host tried to give us a lift several times from the road side but we thought he was an unofficial ‘taxi’ so kept saying ‘no thank you’ oops! Communication a little difficult in that regard. Close to bus and city centre. Comfortable beds.

Modern beautifull flat about 7 min walk to the hight street. Comfortable beds, nice host.Not far from the bus stop we were comming from Tirana and next morning had a bus to Montanegro took us about 6min slow walk with kids.
