How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I stayed in the penthouse suite and it was breathtaking – huge, spotless, and with the most beautiful balcony view. The pool area and private beach were perfect, and I loved how close the hotel was to gorgeous restaurants, bars, beaches, and local sights. The staff truly made my stay unforgettable – so warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Pool area is quite small and very crowded! Would be nice to have a dressing table area to get ready instead of standing in the bathroom.

Verified reviewExcellent modern style hotel with very good facilities re pool and private beach area. Corner suite served as family room with main bedroom with balcony overlooking pool and sea. Bar good value cocktails - beer which you could have by pool more expensive but ok. Top end prices but facilities and style seemed superior to those around. Pool area clean and smart. Lots of sun beds.
For the price and level of hotel the breakfast was a bit chaotic - not enough cups etc. hot food was cold. No towels provided for the pool would have expected as did get at lower rated hotels. I had to ask at 9.45 a.m. whether the pool (said to open at 8) was ready. Still had cleaning pipes in. The beach bit was narrow with only 3-4 rows of beds but that was available sand-wise. What I did not like was service and attitude of bar staff. I paid my bar bill in cash (4 drinks). However I had a call to my room from reception and I confirmed I had paid it drinks. There was then a knock on door from bar manager at 10.30 pm. I was upset at being told I had not paid. I then complained to reception they said was a misunderstanding. Even so I have never been to a hotel where a bar staff member came to my room at 10.30. My children were asleep I was in my pyjamas! If they knew my room they knew I was there the next day and could have asked me in the morning. This really did spoil my stay and this was a big treat for my family to be in such a hotel for two days. This was not what I was expecting from such a highly rated hotel and very disappointing.

Verified reviewThe cleaning staff, Rrushe and Netlija, were very friendly and always asked if everything was okay in the room and if anything was missing. The restaurant was excellent in terms of flavor. I highly recommend the fish "Dentale" as well as the Tagliate. The room was always tidy and clean.
The breakfast tasted rather bland and lacked real flavor. The SPA was advertised as being available, but it was closed. Furthermore, there were promotional materials on-site outside promoting the SPA, even though it was closed. When I made the booking four months ago, there was no information indicating that the SPA area would be closed. A waiter from the restaurant brought us food but forgot the cutlery. We didn't notice him at first, and he entered our room without consent, which I found unacceptable. If my girlfriend had been in the shower, I would have reacted differently, but I chose to ignore the incident.

This is clearly indicated in the “Important Information” section on the reservation page, as well as in the fine print of your booking confirmation. During your stay, we did offer massage treatments, available by appointment, and only these services were advertised on-site — not the full SPA facilities. As for the situation with the waiter entering your room, we are genuinely concerned. We always strive to respect our guests’ privacy, and this is certainly not the type of service we aim to provide. However, we are unsure how the staff could have entered the room without permission unless the door had been open. We would have greatly appreciated if this had been reported immediately during your stay, allowing us to investigate promptly and take appropriate action on the spot. Verified reviewGood facilities, very good location, all new and high quality. The beach is close and pristine, a bit grassy at times, but really good. The breakfast is OK, not great but offers choices. The rooftop pool is stunning - a must do.
For staff, the general rule is that the girls are much more attentive than the lads, and a lot more communicative. I had to instruct them and catch their attention by shouting. They need training and even education. The breakfast is OK - not really worth the price and also not satisfying. The night reception staff hardly speaks any English. What really disturbs me is the attitude of the entitled staff members and guests towards foreign guests: whether it’s not respecting someone’s privacy, ignoring guests wishing to order, in the middle of a discussion: as soon as someone older Albanian shows up, they catch all the attention by shouting and being disrespectful - this might work for some, and in some cheap all inclusive places, but not in a hotel that labels itself as boutique at that price range.

Verified reviewThe beach front location of the property was perfect walking distance to all resort amenities. Small property that’s well maintained & clean. All staff we came in contact with were friendly. Room was spacious and all facilities worked well. Views from superior room were amazing as they were over the beach.
These things didn’t affect our enjoyment but are things to improve on perhaps for other guests. No tea & coffee in room although facilities were there. All the basics were there for breakfast there was no signage on the breakfast buffet to indicate what everything was. For example the type of sausage on the hot buffet, what type of jam was on offer, the types of cold meats etc. A toaster & perhaps a fresh egg station would be good additions for the future. Also late flight provisions perhaps you could offer warm showers. We had to use the showers & changing rooms near the pool and when we reported the shower cold no one seemed to care. The spa facilities had other showers that were locked and not being used. Perhaps they may have been warm??!!.
