Good place to stay for a night, seaview next to the boulevard

No parking at hotel, and attention: there is free parking on the Wilson kay between 18h and 24h parking and driving is forbidden and it becomes a promenade. If you leave your auto there, you might get a fine, a wheelclamp or be towed. Marking a station area for guests to unload/load in front the of the reception entrance would be nice. It's therefore often better to park your car in one of the longer term paid carparks. Beware: the hotel reception asks for identity document of the registrar to be left at the reception, this is inacceptable since they are a not allowed to ask such a thing (and they do it by rule) - so I refused it. Identifying a person does not require retaining identity card. The guarantee they had was my mastercard payment. The breakfast and supper lunch were a walk-in buffet, unfortunately it wasn't very varied and that fresh all the time. Poached eggs were overcooked, there wasn't always milk or rice pudding and the selection was somewhat limited and regularly recurring, not offering that much variation. What I also found lacking freshness of the bread, which seemed from the day before and that there was not real freshly pressed juice and no full cup of coffee in the buffet - only small paper cups of espresso. The hotel has an elevator, but it only goes up to 4th floor, so all above will be using lift+stairs. Staff normally comes to replace towels, soaps and do some basic cleaning like taking out the trash and replacing towels. Cleaning is normally every 2 days. On one day no cleaning was done, no towels were changed and we had to buy toilet paper ourselves. The bathroom regularly had a really bad smell from the syphons, no manual shower to wash everywhere inside shower. Airco remote doesn't work? A lot of noise with wind coming from the sun blinds on the terras (screw missing). Some defects like "big job" toilet button not working and drawers falling out or doorhandle missing on one closet.

We were 5 guests in a family room (503) facing the sea (2 adults and 3 children). Breakfast was included, hotel also accepted us to take free supper on occasion (we didn't always go all of us) - but there are some remarks. The (generally very young staff - possibly season workers/job students?) restaurant and reception staff was nice and friendly. Beach chairs were included for Hotel Frojd guests - except for the first 5 rows or so, which were only for paying customers. The service on the beach was good and the staff friendly. Direct view at the beach, just crossing the street - so that was easy and convenient. We had a nice and large terras with sea view in front of the building on the 5th floor. The room was airconditioned., with some remarks. WiFi coverage was ok, but we did lose connection and electricity briefly one time.

Bathroom drain had a bad smell. No Hot water in the shower. Night warden was unfriendly.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Frojd! The beachfront location, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff made it perfect. Great food, a private beach, and fun entertainment—highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Frojd in Shengjin! The hotel offers exceptional service, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities to make my stay pleasant. I especially loved the beachfront location, which provided stunning views and easy access to the sea. The meals were delicious and offered a great variety of local and international cuisine. The hotel’s atmosphere was perfect for relaxation, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway by the sea!

I stayed for three days and my experience was excellent. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful but the best part was the food. I really suggest everyone to try out their restaurant, especially their pasta and fish menu.

Please do not leave your auto on the street in front of the hotel after 6:00 PM! The city will put a boot on your car and leave you a ticket for 1000 Lek! It is better to ask the hotel staff to park your auto in their private parking area.

This clean, comfortable, reasonably priced hotel is a great place to stay in Shengjin. The breakfast was tasty and fresh. And the location directly on the beach is amazing!
