Reviews of Ionian View B&B

This was my favorite place to stay on my trip to Albania! It’s right on the beach. I had an adorable balcony room overlooking the sea on the 2nd floor. It was very clean, cozy, and perfect for me- a solo traveler. The 1st floor rooms with their terraces looked really cute too- beach side, it’s so easy to go for a swim and then chill on the terrace. The terraces facing the garden looked equally as nice, as the garden there is sooooo pretty and also offers more privacy. The breakfast (in the beautiful garden) was great and the people who work there were so kind and sweet. I can’t say enough good things about them ❤️ The whole strip has a bunch of restaurants, beach bars, and a few small markets. At most of the beach bars, if you bought food/drink you could use their chairs/umbrellas. I ended up loving the rocky beaches and oddly found it comfortable sitting directly on the stones. Bring swim shoes if you have sensitive feet! The water is clear, you can see straight down to the bottom. There is a nearby pier where people would do jumps into the water. I was there the last couple days of August into September. It was a very chill, relaxing atmosphere. Good for couples, families and solo travelers like me. I love trying new things and places, but next time I go to Himare, I will definitely stay at Ionian B and B 😊

Very close to the beach, sunbirds included, very nice athmosphere, friendly staff, nice breakfast, parking, everything super close. Loved it !!

Very friendly family run hotel right off the beach with breakfast, parking and beach chairs and off-room patio.

The boat-shower in the bathroom is a bit tight and the bed is tight in the bedroom, but again it has a comfortable patio to hangout on.

Everything was perfect, the hotel was in front of the beach. The room was very clean and the view from the room was amazing.

Great view of the beach from our balcony and the hotel had its own beach chairs and umbrellas to use for guests on the beach. The beach is beautiful. Restaurants all along the beach to choose from More expensive than anywhere else we had stayed. The room was very clean and spacious. Clothesline on balcony very handy. Breakfast served outside under the grapes vine, very lovely. Everything was very new looking.

The hallway echo's loudly so you can hear everything . There was some ants in the bathroom but didn't bother us.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Wonderful location with the beach across the street and numerous good restaurants. Clean and spacious rooms with balconies. Parking opportunities in the back yard / garden.

Everything was good regarding the hotel, staff and facilities. Breakfast was still ok, although we did have much better breakfasts around Albania. If you are an ALBANINAN TOURIST and you will be cominig here, please do keep in mind that trash you bring and leave on the beach is polluting the nature and the sea. Hotel could raise awarnes among their guests, if they are not taught that in schools or at home, as collecting rubish after irresponsible peole is really in nobody’s interest. Guests of this hotel were playing with water ballons on the beach and just left them there after. The water of the sea is clear, keep it this way so we will all be hapy to come back. The beach is not so clean however. I suggest the hotel does something about it.

The location was great. The view is perfect. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast was Ok, but not more.

Awesome location and great hosts.

The staff were excellent. Every time you saw them there were smiles on their faces and they were always pleased to see you. The beach is right on the doorstep and the beach was clean and tidy with lovely clear water. I would recommend this to anyone who wants something different and friendly.

Location is just perfect right on the sea, owners and staff really nice , stay was very pleasant , Dmitri restaurant outside is very recommended to dine in.

It’s all good , triple room was really good , double room was ok , the bathroom was quite small but manageable.

the host! very good english, interactive and talkative person, very helpful and gave excellent suggestions (for restaurant and also for withdraw money from the correct ATM machine (avoiding crazy bank fee's). Having parking included is a big plus in Albania.
