How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe hotel is great if your look for good value for money It has a nice restaurant where you can have lunch / dinner for a very affordable price. They also serve typical Albanian food which was much appreciated by us. We had to cancel our staying due to some issues with the water heater and they refunded us the entire price for the cancelled nights with no impediments.
Breakfast is pretty basic, they serve you only 1 dish with no options to chose. There is no fresh fruit and you have to pay for the coffee. People smoke in the restaurant that this is something we EU citizens don't expect anymore.

Regarding your unsatisfied comments, we just want to let you know that: - breakfast is always served at the buffet, but in your case I made an exception, being the only customer in the hotel, this night I was treated to a personal plate, which was plentiful and had almost everything that belongs to a breakfast, or at least what we serve liquids and coffees have been active in the breakfast machines, but you can choose to have a coffee from the bar, which is normally part of the buffet and is more payment. As for the smoking part, normally we have areas that are allowed and areas that are not allowed, you are chosen to sit in the area where it is allowed and normally the rules cannot be changed Anyway, thank you for the negative comments because these comments are worth as advice for us and we will try to fix it both for you when you come again and for future customers.

No place to dry the towels or clothes, even though there was a terrace. Sometimes the absence of hot water, but resolved fast

The staff was very friendly and ready to help in any situation, which immediately set you up for a rest. The room turned out to be even better than in the photo – clean, cozy and with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We were especially pleasantly surprised by the delicious breakfasts with a variety of dishes, where everyone will find something to taste. Special thanks for the excellent Wi-Fi and convenient location – it is convenient to get to all the main attractions from the hotel. We spent wonderful days here and will definitely come back again. The breakfast wasn’t great I think I will remember it so much. The options were so limited and I don’t think the bread was ever fresh. My room really hadn’t been cleaned properly there were cobwebs everywhere.
Hello, As you have seen, the hotel rooms are cleaned every day and everything in the room is cleaned and changed every day. It is the first time and the first room in our hotel that we hear about these insects that you say and I always apologize if they are real. these words. The part of the breakfast is to be sure that everything is fresh because every product in our restaurant is bought and sold within a day or a few days. it is not served the next day if it is left and for this we compete to the maximum. Anyway, thank you very much for all the advice and thank you for taking the time to give us a review and maybe this is what we were waiting for.

We were staying 3 persons in one room, we would liked to have several door keys, we had only one. Swimming pool was green, looked like has not cleaned for long time. The stay would be more pleasant if in the room there would be possibility to have hot water and coffee and few tea bags.

The were no clear information that pool will be closed in October already. Bad breakfast! It supposed to be the buffet, but we just get something from the kitchen. And most important - this was my first kind of experience that at breakfast they ask to pay extra for the coffee!
