How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewRoom was spotless and very nice. Spacious
The staff were unfriendly. Too stuck up, they seemed like they were under some sort of pressure. There were some guests doing sexual sort of things to themselves in the pool which was not big and there were little kids there. It was very uncomfortable. Food was not so great even if it was a buffet.

Verified reviewAltogether I would say the hotel is 4**** minus. The facilities are okay, rooms are okay, some parts quite run-down. The á la carte restaurant was quite nice, and the bar on the molo was also nice ambiance. We had the Suite with Terrace, which had awesome view and the terrace was huge. The bed was comfy. We really liked the lively atmosphere and lots of extra fun things (water sports, beach bar, restaurants close by). The private pool on the 6th floor (which is allowed to be used if you have a Suite, or pay 16 euros a day) is really nice with very few people. The downstairs pool is quite small and not so inviting. You can also upgrade to all-inclusive at the reception on the spot for 45 euros/person/day, which is a nice feautre (we ended up not to, and go out for dinner at the á la carte resto).
The hotel is nice but certain parts are run-down and some places quite dirty. We had 3 rooms, one of them had a broken toilet, the mirrors were not cleaned properly. The couch in our room was burnt out by a cigarette and quite dirty. The bathroom was pretty small for a suite, the bed was comfy. The breakfast was okay, but quite crowded and not very high quality food. The most annoying thing is the very loud music that goes on until 2-3 am EVERY DAY at the 6th floor bar. Our room was on the other side of the hotel, so we didn't hear much, but our friends room was just next to the bar on the 6th floor. It was like they had a party in their room... the music was so loud they couldn't sleep until the party was over. After that at 8am they started packing chairs on the corridor and started the music at the pool bar again... Practically, and you get a room on that side of the building, it is impossible to rest. When our friends noted the loud noise to the evening receptionist, he was very rude and unhelpful. The next morning, they asked for another room, which after some bargaining they got. However, the experience was quite unpleasant. The Hotel should be noting the guests who receive these close-by rooms of the noise/loud music in advance! Altogether for couples and friends who want to party, it is a good place, but I sure wouldn't go with family especially with small kids if I prefer to rest (in silence).

Verified reviewVery nice breakfast, very nice beach. The staff is very kind and your car is safe during the stay 😊
Maybe more attention to cleaning… the smell in the hotel is not the greatest.

Verified reviewThe swimming pool on the top floor was a nice bonus
The outdoor swimming pool was extremely disappointing — far too small to accommodate the number of hotel guests. It felt overcrowded and definitely did not appear to meet basic health and safety standards given how many people were using it at once. Our Presidential Suite fell short of expectations. It did not resemble what one would typically expect from a suite of that name, despite being priced more like a premium room. The air conditioning was faulty and, although staff attempted to fix it, it never worked properly. The elevators were another issue, we had to wait an unreasonably long time each time we wanted to return to our room. While the hotel itself is not very large, the number of guests felt excessive for the space available. The beach area was also a letdown. It was extremely crowded with non-hotel guests occupying the sunbeds, and the sea itself was unfortunately quite dirty.

Verified reviewBreakfast was a bit lacking; no egg station or fresh juice. Room was good, 2 bedroom suite. Resort and beach were busy. Glazing not good so noisy from live music round the pool.
See above. Wine was expensive.

Verified reviewI stayed only one night at Klajdi Resort & Spa, but the experience was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. I was offered a complimentary upgrade to a stunning suite, such a thoughtful and generous surprise! The rooftop pool is absolutely gorgeous, serene, spotless, and offering breathtaking views. In the evening, live music filled the air with a soothing and elegant atmosphere. Even though I was traveling solo, I felt peaceful, safe, and fully cared for. Out of all the 5-star hotels I’ve stayed at in Albania, the service here has been by far the best. Warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Every small detail felt curated with care. I’ll absolutely return for a longer stay. Klajdi Resort is a hidden gem that speaks to quality. 🌅🌟
