Oh! What a lovely place! Stunning view and just in the old city with everything around for entertainment, attractions and shopping. The owners are sweetest 💕 good vibes, cheerful and friendly. We felt at home as soon as we arrived - a warm welcome, a lovely room with beautiful views, a delicious homemade cooking for our dinner, lunch and a delightful breakfast with everything freshly picked and made. We felt right at home!

The hotel is charming, the staff lovely & very helpful the room perfect with a beautiful view and the breakfast was delicious.

We had 3 nights here and it was great. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are nice with air condition. The breakfast was great and so was the food in general. The location inside Berat Castle is fantastic. The castle is beautiful and great to wander around in, so staying inside it makes this very convenient. There is parking next to the hotel, if you drive up through the old city gate. We had a great experience here, and I'll definitely recommend others to go here as well.

Arriving in the hotel requires driving thru the narrow entrance to the historical area with the car - was scaring !!!

The room very clean, comfortable and really authentic. Also, it has awesome views of the valley and the village. The best part are the hosts extremely gentle and heart-warming, and their food is local and delicious! Thanks for everything!

I would highly highly recommend this hotel! It is set in an amazing place and the family that run it are lovely and super helpful. The food, both for dinner and breakfast, was amazing. Can't recommend this highly enough!

Beautifully located next to the castle of Berat, the host welcomes you in the most hospitable way. He is always in for a chat or a joke, and makes you feel like you are the best guest he can have. He can advise you where to go and what is a nice thing to do as a tourist. I highly recommend this place.

Our favourite stay in the whole of Albania. Breakfast was AMAZING! With a beautiful view from the dining room. Dinner we had in the outside courtyard and again the best meal we ate all trip. Was such a lovely stay. Host was amazing and it’s a real family run business.

This was my favourite hotel in all of Albania, an amazing historic building with a lovely family running it who looked after us through our short stay. The breakfast is fantastic, the views were sensational! Thank you for everything!

Historic hotel and restaurant run by very kind hosts

Charming hotel in an amazing location on the castle grounds. The host went out of his way to help, and even gave me and another guest a ride to the bus station since he was going in that direction. More than appreciated.

Very nice stay and close to Berat castle, which is convenient and quiet at night.

Perfect location with a spectacular view. Wonderful, charming and pittoresque room, comme il faut. Great host and most delicious food - esp the moussaka and the cassata parfait.

Such an awesome spot! Very cool to stay in the castle walls, restaurant had awesome food and house made olive oil.

Just keep in mind it’s a 20 minute uphill walk back from the main town.

A very friendly and well managed family run hotel with simple comforts and excellent food.

The 10 is for the extraordinary level of hospitality, the simply fabulous food and the great location within the castle. Lunch and breakfast were both great. The family running the place are incredibly helpful and friendly. Wifi is strong. The garden and terraces are lovely settings in which to eat or just relax.
