Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumThe pool is of course amazing! The rooms are big, comfortable and very clean! The staff is incredibly friendly and the location is also great! One advice I can give if you want to eat somewhere else is: restaurant ‘Zouma’ just 15’ away in the village Vrisera!

United StatesWe were there off season, so it felt a bit like an abandoned ghost town when we pulled up. 😄 Don't let that deter you, though. We had a cabin with a living room, bathroom and loft bedroom. They served us an included breakfast over at the restaurant (mere steps away) that was incredible! It was a full table service breakfast with all the bells and whistles! The pool wasn't open yet, and the fountain wasn't running. I can imagine how nice those would be when fully operational! There is a nice dog that lives there and loves a good treat. Parking was right outside of our door for our cabin. It is only 15 mins from Gjirokaster, and loved being able to visit there, but stay someplace without traffic or parking issues. We were only going to stay one night, but once we saw it, we booked 2 extra nights right away. If you're contemplating staying here...just do it!

United KingdomLovely and clean hotel with friendly staff and great breakfast; great location if you have a car, roughly 20mins from Gjirokaster We were the only guests at the hotel, so they allowed us a later check-out Put Kronos Village to Google Maps rather than using the address shown on Booking.com Pool was not open during our stay

United KingdomThe staff at the resort were extremely friendly. Unfortunately, we visited Kronos Village at off-season. Therefore, most of their facilities were not open (including the pool and the restaurant- due to staff shortage). We initially thought that this would cause us a bit of discomfort, as we had to drive to the nearest restaurant which is 10 mins away. This was a bit of a problem as the village is quite remote. We were also worried about the village being isolated as well (with not a lot of guests). However, we were scared for nothing. The resort was very safe and secure. When we informed the staff about our worries, they took it very seriously, apologised to us, and kindly offered us a partial refund. The manager of the resort is one of the sweetest ladies I met in Albania. She was extremely kind and understanding. It was bad luck that we visited just before the start of the season and we hope that we can visit soon, when the village is at its normal. Coming to the accommodation, we got a duplex which was obviously spacious and had all the necessary amenities. It also offered a great view of the hills behind the resort. The breakfast was delicious and we definitely recommend visiting Kronos Village.

United KingdomThe breakfast was very liminited. Seeing as we had stayed in 5 hotels during our road trip of Albania I would say this was the worse breakfast. When we arrived there wasn't a reception area or desk. I asked a member of staff where reception was and they replied "we don't have one at the moment". Do you have a bookiing? I replied yes and showed my confirmation from Booking.com. They couldn't find it on their system. They showed us to a room which was a downstairs room and we had asked for an upstairs one. They did however, later offer us an upstairs room. We decided to eat in the hotel and we were greeted with a young man. We asked for the menu and he said that they didn't have one at the moment and he took a piece of folded paper out of his pocket and started reading some items of food. I stopped him and said "this is so unprofessional and that I was really upset about how we were being treated. We ate pasta in the end. I asked if they had ice-cream and they didn't have any form of dessert. We were offered drinks free to make up for the treatment. I would say that this could be a good hotel if they get things sorted out. Why open a hotel when things aren't ready.
We loved the pool and the pool area,

SwedenThere were discrepancies with cleanliness. There was dirt and hairs in the bathroom even though it was brand new. The staff were welcoming and friendly, but lacked knowledge in service. The check-in was unclear because of a lack of reception and staff. Making the beds was left up to us, and the restaurant was not up and running at our arrival at 8pm. We were then served red wine with the wine cork stuck in the bottle, along with glass shards from the wine bottle. The next morning, we were confronted at breakfast whether we had paid or not, when all payments were supposed to be made at checkout. When it was made clear that she demanded that we pay at the breakfast; we did so and got breakfast. The staff came back 5 minutes later and apologised for the misunderstanding with a bottle of wine. As a last reminder, I once again want to make it clear that all a of the staff were friendly and had good intentions. The problems that arose were simply because of a lack of service and communication as well as routine.
The facilities were amazing; brand new, fresh, and mostly clean. The pool looked good and all of the furniture was brand new. The checkout was simple and despite some struggles with the staff, they tried to make it up to us through discounts and a bottle of wine. The staff were very friendly and tried their best to make things work.

SwitzerlandThey only take cash and don’t mention it on booking. The ATM is a 30 minutes ride away (one direction). I would recommend to mention that on booking. The pool is open for the whole neighborhood, which is a very nice gesture in principle, but there were no more free sun chairs even though there fore only a couple of guests. I would recommend to reserve some of them for the clients.
Big room, big pool, friendly staff, good price
