How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Room was simple but clean and well kept, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location near the beach was excellent, and having parking available made things very easy. Breakfast was nice, and the restaurant food was tasty and reasonably priced. Overall, the price-to-quality ratio was really good, making this place a great choice for a relaxing and affordable getaway.

I had a fantastic stay at this villa and would absolutely return. The room was very clean, spacious, and well-organized, which made it easy to settle in and feel comfortable right away. One of my favorite parts was the large balcony — it offered plenty of space to sit and relax, enjoy a morning coffee, or just take in the fresh air after a day at the beach. The location is another major plus. The beach is just a few minutes away on foot, which made it super convenient to go for a swim or enjoy a walk by the sea whenever I felt like it. The area is quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff truly stood out — every person I interacted with was polite, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their warm hospitality made the experience even better. Everything was just as described, if not better. Cleanliness, comfort, a great location, and kind service — I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay near the beach.

I had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean and comfortable, with a lovely balcony that was perfect for relaxing. The location couldn’t have been better — just a short walk to the beach. The staff were extremely polite and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

We had a great stay at the villa! The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, and the location near the beach was perfect. Just a loud barking dog next door - not the properties fault
We got upgraded to an apartment at the main villa so cannot comment directly on Anel Suites. Rooms as amazing, breakfast was top-notch, enjoyed our stay

The location is a bit out of the way. If you have a car, that's not a problem.
The hotel staff was very helpful! The apartment I booked was a good size and had a kitchen balcony.

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The staff were incredibly polite and always went out of their way to ensure my comfort. The location is perfect-just a short walk from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sea at any time. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with excellent service and a prime location.

The bathroom could be updated. Specially the shower curtain fell the whole time.
Cozy room with a small outside terrace. Walking distance to the beach. It was nice to have breakfast at the main vila. This made our stay.

It was not really anything that I didn’t like everything was how I was expecting and seen on pictures.
Is a really cute place in a really nice neighbourhood, the best place to travel with your family and for couples who are trying to have a quiet stay. The beach is really close and the center is not to far you can just walk. It has public transportation every 1h which helped me to move when I was lazy to walk but and walking is not more then 15 minutes to get to the center of Vlora
