Nothing - everything was lovely!

Absolutely everything about Lille France is amazing. The host is kind and her grandson is very sweet, helping with translating to English as we did not speak Albanian. They offered to help us with bus tickets. The apartment itself is spacious and comes with all the essentials you need such as laundry machine, oil and salt for cooking and so on. The balcony is so nice to watch the sunset from. The best part is the location which is a minutes walk from the Main Street which makes it comfortable to sleep at night but close enough to be part of it.

Everything was perfect. Ana was a great caring helpful host. There is a family feel to this place that made me feel comfortable instantly. The room was perfect with all amenities, washing machine a plus. The room was clean and bed was comfy. I miss having coffee with Ans already. If you are going to Theth , Ana has the tickets so all was smooth and easy. Shkoder is a cute town. Definitely stay a few nights in this hotel. The location is perfect as well.

We had an incredible stay here! Great price, super clean, nice large room even though it’s a studio. AC was amazinngg. Great location near the Main Street but off on a quiet street so we slept super well. Kitchen was stocked very well and the staff was very kind! They let us store our bags for the day. Loved the balcony and we were able to do 2 loads of laundry which was much needed after a week hiking in Theth.

The street the apartment is on is quite narrow and there's very little parking. This is the case with so much of Albania so I would not let this deter you unless you are driving a large truck/van!

Very comfortable, spacious apartment with a cool balcony and decent location! We met the hosts promptly upon arrival and they helped us ensure our parking was legal (Albania's parking laws are confusing!). The host was very friendly as was her family(?) who helped with translation and check in. We stayed here for three nights and found the beds comfortable, air conditioning satisfactory, and location great for being close to so many restaurants as well as the bus station to get to Valbona/Theth! It's rare to find a place in Albania with fast Wifi so we appreciated that we were able to send pictures, stream movies, etc! The laundry machine was also very useful and drying clothes on the rack outside worked great. Anytime we ran into the host she met us with a smile and greeting!

The only "but" are the stairs. They could be challenging for some people or when carrying on luggage.

The owners are sooo nice!! And the flat is great: clean and with an amazing terrace to enjoy. We totally loved to be there! Located within walking distance from everything. Communication was great with the owners (and the young guy speaks perfect english; we were delighted with his perfect skills on this+ his help to us to locate some places).

Very friendly and kind hosts. Rooms are really wonderful. Perfectly clean, modern, very warm and comfortable with such a nice balcony. Location can't be better - the city center is just behind the corner. Would highly recommend to everyone.

All was fine just some minor details to assist guest who plan on cooking: The kitchen had all the basic cooking equipment (pots/pans etc and some salt) but no other cooking basics eg cooking oil or pepper. No tea or coffee provided. The knives were a bit blunt.

Excellent location near lots of nice cafes, restaurants, shops etc. The apartment is well equipped - even has a washing machine. We enjoyed having a small kitchen to make some meals while there. Comfortable beds, aircon, nice verandah for enjoying the view of the city while having coffee or wine. Our host was fantastic- she helped arrange our hiking transport to Valbone / Theth and stored our bags while we were away. We were able to rent bikes (addition cost) to bike to the lake. We were also introduced to the guy running the car rental business next door and we’re able to arrange a rental car while in Albania. Highly recommend. We would love to stay again if we return to the area!

We loved our stay here at Lille France Apartments! The room was super comfortable, bathroom was spacious, and the facilities were nice. Our hosts were so kind, they gave us some of their laundry detergent to help us do a load of laundry during our stay. We would highly recommend staying here!

Location is superb, good facilities and lovely balcony, but main asset is family who run it. Lovely Anna and her son. Went above and beyond to help you, looked after bags for free even though not staying there after Theth. Washer and drying facilities. Printed ticket for our next bus.

There is nothing not to like.

This was my second stay and just as good as the first. Apts are immaculate! all have washing machines some with balconies. Great location. Ana is absolutely the most kind and helpful host in Shkoder. My hiking boots needed repair after the Peak of the Balkans trek and she took me by the hand in the rain to get them fixed. Best place in Shkoder—can’t recommend highly enough.

- location: central but still quiet at night and close to restaurants & cafes - the host lady: she is exceptionally friendly. There’s a language barrier but you can communicate & she really cares about her guests. She even woke up at 6 am to see if the mini bus driver picked me up for my ride to Teth. And it was also no problem to extend my stay. - apartment is also very good for that price. Clean and comfortable and even with nice balcony - you also can get coffee & beer downstairs

The door from the bathroom let pass some light although you have curtains and shutters into the room.

The location, the kindness and welcoming of Ana, the clean and big room with all equipment you need, the nice balcony, the possibility to rent a bicycle and to let your bag during the Valbone - Theth treck. The wash machine after the treck. The drop off to the bus stop to reach Kosovo. Everything was very well thinking for a confortable stay! Thank you very much!

There is nothing not to like!

Anna is such a lovely host. Apt is super clean and very comfortable. Has everything you need —dishes, cooking equipment, towels, soap, etc. Good hot water, comfy bed. Loved it! Highly recommend!
