The hospitality is outstanding! Every care was taken to ensure I enjoyed my stay & I'll always be grateful for the kindness of Linda & her husband (sorry I didn't get his name). Very good-sized rooms, comfortable beds & pillows. It's a short 10-15 minute walk to most points of interest & there are restaurants & cafes very close by. They also offer cheap & lovely breakfast & bike hire.

The only distraction for me was the noise from other guests due to the layout. But good earplugs helped overcome this.

We really liked the athmosphere of the house, and the inner yard which cools the rooms, and you can dry your clothes easily. We appreciated the owners small gestures to make us feel home: cold water welcome, extra melone added to our own breakfast, flexibility. The house is well equipped, you can use the kitchen, also the bathroom is nice big. And everything is very clean. Extra services (great breakfast, bike rent, washing) were available for 3 euros. The house is in a quiet neghbourhood but close to places that you need as a tourist. We would go again, and I can recommend it. (Not negative, just a comment: we chose the cheapest room; but if you stay longer, it is good to know that the room has no windows, and it opens from the common kitchen/living room, and the owner make breakfast there in the morning. We didn't bother though.)

From the moment we arrived at the house, we knew we had discovered something truly special. The house offers the perfect blend of comfort and genuine hospitality. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, offering local recommendations and treating us with smile and great communication. Their passion for hospitality really shines through in every detail. Breakfast was a highlight – fresh, home made delicious, and beautifully presented. We ate in the garden under the shade wich made it even more special. Whether you're here for a quiet getaway, a business trip, or to explore the area, this is the perfect choice. We can't recommend this guest house highly enough and will definitely be returning on our next visit. Thank you for a truly memorable stay!

We stayed two (seperate) nights at this guesthouse. Before and after our valbone-theth hike. The morning before the hike, Linda and her husband served us breakfast at 6, we were really thankful for that, as we had to leave early. We also rented bikes here. There was not enough pressure in the tires, so the husband helped us and brought us to a car garage to put pressure in the tires. When we came back from the hike, we were welcomed with fresh watermelon. Linda and her husband were very lovely, welcoming and warm. We loved staying at their guesthouse. Everything was clean and the breakfast was delicious.

The host, Linda, was enormously sweet and friendly and served us an amazing breakfast at 6 in the morning (because we had to leave early).

Me and my partner stayed here for two nights when doing the Theth-Valbone hike and it was fantastic. Linda, our host was incredibly accomodating. We stayed here the first night, left the next day for our Theth-Valbone hike, then stayed here again the following day. During the day that we left for our hike we left our bags overnight at the accommodation (paid 2euros per bag) and collected them when we arrived. Linda was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The place is very clean and tidy and in a great location, close to the main city centre and bus station.

My only issue is that there is one shared toilet/bathroom for up to four different rooms but we didn’t run into any issues with having to wait for people.

Hosts are the nicest people who paid attention to every detail and are available to help with anything needed. My room was on the ground floor and was attached to the shared kitchen, which had a nice office/dining/lounge area and super fast wi-fi and I was able to do some work there. So if you are a digital nomad this is the place for you (though if there are other guests, you’ll likely have some company from time to time). The whole place is really quiet, clean, equipped with everything you need from toiletries, linen, stove, microwave, fridge, kitchen stuff, spices and oil. The room itself has two comfortable beds and stays pretty cool in the hot months without needing AC. The toilet is just across from the shared kitchen in the courtyard, but this isn’t a problem because it just adds to the vintage charm of the place. The house is located in the city center, an easy 5-10-minute walk to the main street and the bus station. A bakery, restaurant and grocery shop are just across the street.

    Location

    Toilet outside!

    Property response:

This was something already known for you before confirming the reservation. I don't see the comment and evaluation score as reasonable, since at this time of the year you were the only guest during your stay, which means the shared toilette was all for you. Anyway thank you for chosing us.

The host was very helpful and friendly. The city center is within 7min walk and there are a lot of bars and supermarkets nearby.

Privacy was limited as the room windows faced a shared yard

    Location within Skroder is good

We booked a tent pitch but what’s on offer is a concreted yard, so you can’t put pegs in to pitch a tent properly. This wasn’t transparent when booking. This might work for a few tents, but most tents rely on pegs!

    Property response:

It is true that there is a concrete pitch in the backyard, but there is also an area with soil, where you could theoretically have set up your own tent. You decided to leave and the reservation has been canceled, but this review as I see has just a malicious intent to harm our review score, since you did not even stay with us. Anyways thank you for you evaluation! Next year I am sure that you will have an amazing experience at our backyard.

The host was lovely. The room and the property have a traditional old house look. Having the fully functional kitchen was a plus.

I stayed on the first floor while the shared shower and the toilet were on the ground floor. The room's floor made creaking sound when I walked. Otherwise, I slept fine. Also it was a bit far from the central area and dragging my luggage in the heat across the cobblestone road was laborious.
