The hotel menu wasn't as good as some of the places next to it, but there burger was amazing

The hotel was amazing, our suite was huge and the super Queen size bed was so comfortable. The staff were brilliant and so polite and helpfull. My partner used the spa and had a massage and said she highly recommends it.

We stayed at Palace Hotel & Spa for nine days and absolutely loved it. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the housekeeping staff were always friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a real highlight – not only was it extensive and delicious, but the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Our 4-year-old daughter looked forward to it every single morning! The beach area was just as enjoyable. The umbrellas are included, well spaced out, and never overcrowded. The beach staff were very social and helpful, which made relaxing by the sea even more pleasant. We also had dinner at the hotel one evening, and the experience was just as positive – tasty food with excellent service. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. A perfect mix of comfort, hospitality, and relaxation. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to both couples and families!

Great suite (512) on 5th floor of annex building but the lift only went to the fourth floor followed by over twelve diy stairs which in the uk would be illegal plus no hand rail Also the lift and some of the staircase were scruffy and in particular the areas close to the apartments which had obvious non hotel doors thus suggesting they were Air B&B The hotel had also decided just prior to our visit to move breakfast from the ground floor restaurant close to the pool in front of the main building to the fifth floor of the same building, this breakfast venue was served by one lift with a maximum of four persons This meant that we and the other top floor suites (507 -512) had to make the journey I have previously described ie descend by five floors then try to call the lift before ascending five floors for breakfast followed by doing the reverse in order to get back to our room consequently we only ate breakfast on three occasions

Mold and very bad smell in the toilet. Please clean drains, and change molded silicone. Hotel is in worse condition than it was 8 years ago when I stayed last time. Also, when trying to make reservation directly (call or mail) noone responds. Impossible to comunicate with the property, make request and say what you want exactly.

For being a 5 stars hotel, there were a few sloppy aspects. I used the communal facilities on a few occasions while at the beach. There was toilet roll and hand tissue missing, one of the sinks was not working and the toilet was dirty. The hotel is in general really lovely but it is in a area that is not as nice as the hotel. Also in our room, there was 1 capsule for the coffee machine, and we never got a second one. We only got 2 rather small bath towels - which again considering is a seaside hotel and it’s 5 stars is a bit strange - and suddenly on our last day we also got some bathrobes…

The room was lovely. The bed was the highlight. It was a very big bed with an amazing mattress. The breakfast buffet was also very good. There was an incredible variety of salty and sweet options and also fresh fruit. The hotel staff was really nice, especially the staff of the beach bar.

The front desk acted more like police officers than service people. Their lack of english did not make it any easier.

What an enchanting gem in Durrës. The hotel might not be a five star for an west european standard, but it was great. The ladies in the front desk had zero clue due to service, but the rest of the staff did a great job!

Some of the hallways could benefit from refurbishment, but this is only a small part of the hotel and didn’t affect our stay. The lift feels a little dated, but it works perfectly well — and that’s all that matters.

Check-in was seamless, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms were impeccably cleaned every day. The outdoor restaurant offers excellent food and cocktails — I’ll definitely be back!

Breakfast was good, with a fantastic view on 5th floor. Beach was nice in general, but the sand was a bit dirty, there were empty bottles in the sand and some smoke butts in the sand. Room was spacious and nice but bathroom didn't have any place to put or hang towels for some reason.

Our room did not have a general cleaning on the second day of our stay, only towels were changed.

The hotel is not only very beautiful on the outside, but even more beautiful on the inside. The cleanliness, food and staff are some of the most unique experiences you can experience. There were sun loungers included in the price on the beach, the sea was very clean and the environment on the beach was very quiet. The staff inside the hotel but also at the beach bar were very polite and omnipresent.

This was a beautiful spacious property with high ceilings and a feeling of opulence. The swimming pool was well designed and made for a wonderful backdrop to the restaurant for evening meals. The parking spaces in the underground garage were large and therefore easy to get in to.

The elevator and the hallway was old and need maintenance. The bathroom had the heating on and it could apparently not be turned off.
