It is a majestic hotel in a fantastic location. Grand lobby with love chandeliers. The hallways are slightly dated with new carpets needed. The standard room is spacious and the bed was comfortable the only downside is the curtains let in a lot of light. The complimentary water is a lovely touch and reasonably priced items in the mini bar. The staff all round the hotel are polite and welcoming. The maids made our bed each day and provided clean towels which was a lovely touch. The staff at breakfast were incredible, polite and welcoming and constantly replenishing with fresh food. It is an excellent breakfast with amazing panoramic views from the 5th floor. The spa area was slightly underwhelming with 2/3 of the additional showers (ice and emotional) not working, the 2nd sauna with essential oils also wasn’t. There is time for families to enjoy the indoor pool and jacuzzi, however this was not monitored and loud children and families were in there eating crisps in the jacuzzi and making noise. The prices in the restaurant were very reasonable for 5 star. The courtesy towels and sun loungers on the private beach are an excellent touch. The hotels private taxi drivers were also fantastic with great communication via WhatsApp although tended to be about €5-10 more expensive than local taxi companies. Would definitely stay again.

Dated hallways Elements of spa not working

Asked for them to fix the phone several times but to no avail. Also, sensed a bit of hostility with a spa lady, not sure why?

The hotel was amazing, our suite was huge and the super Queen size bed was so comfortable. The staff were brilliant and so polite and helpfull. My partner used the spa and had a massage and said she highly recommends it.

The hotel menu wasn't as good as some of the places next to it, but there burger was amazing

We stayed at Palace Hotel & Spa for nine days and absolutely loved it. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and the housekeeping staff were always friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a real highlight – not only was it extensive and delicious, but the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Our 4-year-old daughter looked forward to it every single morning! The beach area was just as enjoyable. The umbrellas are included, well spaced out, and never overcrowded. The beach staff were very social and helpful, which made relaxing by the sea even more pleasant. We also had dinner at the hotel one evening, and the experience was just as positive – tasty food with excellent service. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. A perfect mix of comfort, hospitality, and relaxation. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to both couples and families!

The location is good. The beach area is nice and the hotel does not charge for standard loungers. Towels provided. Spacious room and comfortable, but the bathroom in one room stunk of sewage, an issue that was not resolved during stay. Breakfast staff were fantastic girls, shout out to Linda, always smiling and helpful, great start to the day. The options and quality of food at breakfast was good. Reception staff very helpful and polite. Room cleaning staff absolutely lovely and helpful. Local restaurant called "Sublime", best on the promenade and would highly recommend

    1. There are not enough loungers by the pool, and so not able to sit comfortably with family. Other guests feel it's ok to remove your stuff or use your lounger whilst you are in the pool!! 2. Restricted hours for children in the indoor pool, kids have sensitive skin, so getting out of sun and still having something to do is one of the reasons I chose this hotel. I was very disappointed when they informed me of restricted hours! 3. Gym equipment is very old, and A/C hit and miss, not effective at all. 4. Only 1 sauna worked the first few days, and then that stopped working. The jacuzzi was cold! Steam room didn't work. I had considered getting a massage during the holiday but after seeing state of spa I didn't feel very confident! 5. Restaurant staff are quite rude and abrasive, so chose not to eat and drink there. 6. Sometimes, waiting for towels in heat was a bit long on the beach 7. Coffee at breakfast was not great, I think the machine needs recalibrating as beans tasted burnt and was not at all warm.

Reception staff were poorly trained and inappropriate. I was contacted directly by one member of reception staff post my return to the UK who begged me to help save him from being sacked via his personal phone, booking.com had duplicated my booking- I had the dispute looked into by my card company who returned my money - this behaviour by the hotel is absolutely unacceptable!!! The hotel itself is advertised as a 5 star do not be fooled - it thinks it has all the ingredients for a 5 star but has no idea how to cook it - do yourself a favour and avoid !!

Access area to our suite was dangerous - poorly lit and uneven steps, poor cleanliness and a lift that seemed to drop a foot on arrival- our floor was an after thought obviously as had no lift access so had to do a flight of uneven steps before getting there- very poor

The friendliest staff that made our stay exceptional! The hotel is super clean, we ate some of the best food we have ever had and the staff is the best part of the experience. They made us feel like at home, especially the blonde guy who works at the beach bar (we believe his name is Julin or Ulin). We will definitely come again!

    Staff, food and location

Great suite (512) on 5th floor of annex building but the lift only went to the fourth floor followed by over twelve diy stairs which in the uk would be illegal plus no hand rail Also the lift and some of the staircase were scruffy and in particular the areas close to the apartments which had obvious non hotel doors thus suggesting they were Air B&B The hotel had also decided just prior to our visit to move breakfast from the ground floor restaurant close to the pool in front of the main building to the fifth floor of the same building, this breakfast venue was served by one lift with a maximum of four persons This meant that we and the other top floor suites (507 -512) had to make the journey I have previously described ie descend by five floors then try to call the lift before ascending five floors for breakfast followed by doing the reverse in order to get back to our room consequently we only ate breakfast on three occasions

hotel & its amenities were great. would have preferred to have a regular blanket - rather than just a thin sheet. location on the boardwalk & beach was amazing - gym was also top notch.

not having a proper blanket to sleep - woke up several times. had to sleep in robe for an extra layer

Overall, the hotel looks good, with a nice breakfast, a decent spa/fitness area, and a good outdoor pool. The indoor parking lot helps and the hotel location is ok.

We booked a room for four (two adults and two children), but it was prepared for only two. They brought two extra beds to the room but forgot two bath towels. We requested them at least three times, and the issue was resolved only on the second day. The bathroom had a door that couldn’t be properly closed, a toilet that was slowly leaking clear water from the back, and a shower area where the water drained so slowly that it created a small pool around our feet. In the room, the blackout curtains didn’t block the light effectively. The staff did their best, but their efforts were not enough to resolve the issues. We stayed in a standard room in the annex, but it’s still part of a five-star hotel, where we don’t expect to encounter these kinds of problems. The hotel may have many good qualities, but my experience did not reflect them.
