Nothing to dislike

The man who checked us in made us feel really welcome and explained so much to us. Great for our first night in Albania after a long day travelling. We were allowed to leave our luggage there for 4 nights while we were in Theth. The room was very spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Even though we were on a street with restaurants and bars we didn’t hear it at night, the windows were well soundproofed. There were bedside lamps and a bin in the room which doesn’t seem common in Albania so far!

We had a room on the second floor and part of the trim had a low roof so tricky for me (1,85cm tall).

Very welcoming staff. Excellent location in the city center and in the pedestrian street. Yves at the reception was great with recommendations and information. Room had a desk and we could work. Breakfast was great!

Very nice hotel right in the centre of Shkoder. Very clean and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. Very easy to arrange onward transport to Valbona and we were provided with breakfast to take away.

Our room was large and spacious. The bathroom was also a good size. We were right in the centre of the old town, which came alive at night with bands and bars. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive.

Nothing, was perfect for our needs

We chose this hotel because other reviewers said they were helpful with organising the Valbone-Theth (or reverse direction) hike and they are 100% correct. The staff were amazing in general but they not only helped us booked our transport to Valbone for the next morning (6:30AM start) but they also stored our luggage with them for 3 days for free (you only want to take a day pack for Valbone/Theth - remember you have to hike with what you take) and they also gave us a packed breakfast for the trip to Valbone. They have a car park you can leave your car for the duration of your hike (we left it there 3 days) and it was super cheap (a few euros total). THETH-VALBONE HIKE INFORMATION, the hotel charged 26euro to organise a minibus at 6:30AM from outside the hotel to Koman. You transfer to a ferry to take you up Komani Lake to Fierze (beautiful ferry ride, about 2.5h), then transfer to another minibus to take you to Valbone (will drop you off at your hotel, I think we arrived at 2PM). We stayed 1 night in Valbone (could do 2 if you want to hike more in this area), then then next day we hiked to Theth. We stayed in Theth 1 night (could also do more here too as loads of amazing hiking in the area) and then got a minibus back to Shkoder (pick it up from outside the supermarket between 10:00-10:30AM, there are loads of them so just speak to a driver to get one). Rooms were large with AC and beds comfortable enough. Location is perfect, right next to the busy night streets but not too close that it is loud

Perfect location, very clean room. The host was really friendly and responsive and helped us in every possible way. We really appreciate taking care of our bags while we were doing Valbone - Theth hike and making breakfast early in the morning for take away.

All the staff ere very helpful … especially Ivi on reception . He recommended excellent food , advised us about our trek in the alps and recommended car hire when we came back from trek . He also explained some of the history of the area

Its already our second time in this place. Always a pleasure to be there. As usual, staff is really good and polite, always eager to help. Very good breakfast and the location is perfect close to the main pedestrian area in Shkoder. The restaurant is also very good. I would strongly suggest people to try the Pizzas there and also the pastries.

Maybe the hotel could arrange better the view and access to the inner yard and garden since it is a cute one. Just to escape a bit from the other urban side (just a friendly advice).

The room we booked was a bit difficult to walk, because the roof was kind of inclined.

The room was very clean, and the staff is excellent. Very well located with Cafes, restaurants, supermarkets nearby.
