Great place with a splendid view of Shala River. This place is a few hundred meters away from the worst crowds were the boats arrive so I´d say this is the perfect spot for having both a great day with some calm but still be very close to the buzz if thats what you like. Delicious risotto and lovely staff at the restaurant. Great place to swim in front of the guesthouse and a variety of food and drink options close by. I highly recommend staying here.

Wifi was weak, but it didn't really matter to go offline for a bit

This was one of the most relaxing stays I had, a clean and beautiful room with a lovely view of the river. They were able to get me a fan at night when I felt a bit hot. The restaurant serves delicious food with a great wine menu. The staff are extremely nice and helpful.

Let’s start by saying that the location was postcard worthy, super picturesque unbelievably beautiful. The staff was friendly, helpful and prompt, and hotel experience was excellent. We stayed one night and day. The food at the bar and restaurant was really really good, plenty of drinks (beer or cocktails) and all types of cuisine, fish, grill, salads etc. Quality and value of stay/experience was too notch. Highly recommend this place and the Komani Lake/Shala River experience. You won’t regret it, it will be unforgettable so book your stay and enjoy!

There was no AC it was hot, they have fans but we needed to ask for it, water in the shower wasn’t hot , barely warm, they don’t give water for breakfast you need to buy it

The hotel is in nice location, 5 minutes walking from where boats stop, so it’s less crowded, room was simple but nice looking , breakfast was simple: petula with jam and cheese but it tasted good

If you’re gluten sensitive I would message them before to ask for GF options for breakfast (I didn’t but the family that runs the place is so friendly and accommodating I’m sure they would accommodate) but other than that it was perfect! I would come back here

The room window overlooks a great view but opens onto the corridor outside the room. Since there is no ACwe needed to sleep with an open window onto the corridor which is not pleasant (even though few people pass there)

Ronis place is beautiful and convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was good. The rooms are a little basic but overall we got very good value for our money. Recommended!

Don't use lots of ice as it's taking from the natural source, few people got sick from it but that's the issue in Albania in general!

The location is far from the boats which makes it less crowded. Amazing staff very friendly and welcoming. So far the best place in Albania! The room was very basic but clean. PS: don't forget your crocks or any other swimming shoes it would help a lot. Shala river is a must to do in Albania not only for a day trip.

Had an awesome stay. Getting there’s part of the whole experience – you hop on a small boat to cross the river, which was real chill. After that, there’s a wee track through the bush, and then boom – you’re at this tucked-away hotel in the middle of nature. It’s quiet as, with just the sound of the river and birds around. The vibe’s super relaxed, staff were good sorts, and the place had everything I needed to just unwind. Not flashy, but honest and proper comfy. Not everything is well-made; for example, when you take a shower, the entire bathroom ends up flooded. The jacuzzi is great when it's on, but when you drain it, the water overflows onto the balcony. Perhaps it’s still under construction, but many things are not yet finished and not really usable. However, it is very beautiful despite these adjustments that should be done as soon as possible. The staff is great, but if you're aiming for a 4-star experience, the staff shouldn't walk around without a shirt and greet clients that way. As for breakfast, I would suggest focusing on finishing the hotel rather than the breakfast, which was average.

The rooms are really spacious and offer an incredible view of the river and mountains. The hotel is beautiful from the outside, but it's still under construction from inside, which is something you need to accept. Everything is new and beautiful, but not fully functional. If you can overlook these details, then you can stay at this hotel. :) However, the staff does not seem to have proper accommodations, as we noticed they were sleeping behind the hotel in poor conditions. We arranged our arrival through another hotel, Riverside Hotel, as Ronis Hotel was not responding to our messages on Booking. The Wi-Fi needs improvement and is NOT suitable for digital nomads. Some other guests encountered an issue with a mattress, so the staff kindly asked to borrow our mattresses from our room as we had 2. They were very nice and polite, they even offered us the drinks (amazing!) and everything seemed fine. However, the next day, the mattress appeared in the kitchen :D, which is open and visible to all the guests. What mattress do in the kitchen where eggs are fried? Additionally, please note that payment is accepted ONLY IN CASH

We had a perfect stay at Ronis's hotel with everything taken care of and a very warm welcome. The room has everything you could wish for and we loved the view over Shala river. Overall a perfect getaway to relax!
