⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐ We stayed at Sol Hotel for four nights and it was absolutely perfect! The owner is simply amazing – he helped us organize our luggage, kept it safe, carried it down himself at check-out, and even drove us to the bus station with all our bags so we wouldn’t have to carry them. He also stored our belongings for a few extra hours with genuine kindness, and throughout our stay he constantly made sure we were comfortable, treating us not just as guests but almost like family. After check-out, he took the time to recommend so many things – where to travel next, what’s worth seeing and what’s not, what to be careful about, and even the real prices for things in Albania so we wouldn’t get overcharged. He told us not to hesitate to reach out if we needed anything, even later, and gave us his number, explaining he has friends all over Albania who could help if needed. Truly remarkable hospitality! The location is unbeatable – right in the very center, directly on the main street, yet the rooms are incredibly quiet. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are spacious, clean, beautifully arranged, and cozy. The whole property is well-maintained, welcoming, and far above expectations. Without a doubt – if I come back to Shkodra, I will only stay here again! 💯

At first glance, this place feels more like charming guest rooms than a traditional hotel – and that’s exactly what makes it so special. Tucked away on the third floor of a residential building, with an entrance from behind the building through a parking area rather than the main street, it’s a cozy, family-run spot with a warm and personal touch. The rooms are huge, beautifully decorated, cool, and brand new. There’s free bottled water in the fridge, and the lovely host went above and beyond – recommending a fantastic local restaurant, keeping an eye on our car while we went on the Theth trek, storing our luggage, and even surprising us with a bottle of sparkling wine. Everything is spotlessly clean, the beds are wonderfully comfortable, and the shower is modern, spacious, and with plenty of hot water. While the property doesn’t offer views, the value for money here is truly outstanding. Pros: • Spacious, stylish, and comfortable rooms • Exceptionally kind host who goes the extra mile • Free water, sparkling wine gift, and luggage storage • Parking available • Comfortable beds and hot showers • Outstanding value for money Cons: • No elevator (third floor) • No view from the rooms • Doesn’t have the atmosphere of a traditional “hotel” – but offers something warmer and more personal instead In short: A warm, family-run gem with huge rooms, thoughtful hospitality, and unbeatable value

Modern and very comfortable rooms in centre. Very short walk to the main restaurant and bar area. Friendly staff, gave us recommendations for dinner. Small hotel which we enjoyed.

You can hear the noise from the street at night

The hosts are a lovely family, they have been so kind to us and helped with anything we needed- they even did our laundry for free! Other than that, the location is central and the rooms are very clean.

Rooms of the highest standard, very beautiful with all the equipment needed. Good location, few mins walking from the old town. Extremely friendly and helfpul hosts, easily reachable via whatsapp, helping us with parking spots or anything else we needed. I will definitely stay there again with my next visit!

It’s a 3rd floor with no lift. For us was totally fine. Maybe with more luggage it would have been more uncomfortable. There is no breakfast at the hotel but there are cafés nearby.

The name 'hotel' is misleading as there is no reception. The complex of rooms is built in a residential block. It should be a apart-hotel.
