Dear Ugur, thank you for your review. We appreciate your honesty and the time you took to share your thoughts. We understand that you did not wish to stay in the upper bed, got a bottom bed and later chose to move again and sleep on the couch, which naturally was not the most comfortable option. Please note that all information about our hostel and the facilities we provide is described at the time of booking, so guests can know exactly what to expect. We always do our best to make our guests comfortable, but it is also important that expectations match the reality of a hostel stay. At the same time, making other guests feel uncomfortable, not following house rules, and then still complaining is not fair. Respect for common rules is very important for a good hostel experience. Dear Laura, thank you for your review. We are glad you appreciated our central location and friendly staff. We are sorry that you did not experience our hospitality and that it appears you waited a month before sharing your feedback. Our hostel is designed as an open-plan attic space, in two spaces, with no curtains on beds and this is clearly described in the listing so guests know what to expect before booking. Facilities, including the bathroom and breakfast, are also transparently explained, pictures included. We understand that our style may not suit everyone, but many guests enjoy the unique atmosphere and value for money we provide. We appreciate your feedback and wish you well in your future travels. At the entrance of the hostel, we provide a comprehensive information guide outlining all relevant facilities, which we encourage all guests to review upon check-in to ensure a clear understanding. We are continuously working to enhance our communication strategies to prevent any potential confusion. Regarding the shower facilities, we acknowledge that there is currently only one shower available in the men’s restroom. We recognize this is limited, and we are actively exploring options to expand and improve our amenities to better serve our guests’ needs in the future. Please allow us to clarify that the bar adjacent to the hostel is designed to complement the hostel experience by offering guests additional space and amenities. Both services operate collaboratively, and we remain committed to providing equal attention, respect, and care to all guests—whether staying in the hostel or at the bar. We regret if this was not your perception during your stay and will take your feedback into account to ensure a more balanced guest experience. During your visit, we made several adjustments to enhance your comfort and convenience. At your request, we reassigned your bed from the upper to the lower bunk and subsequently adjusted your friend’s bed so you could be accommodated together. Although we informed you that bike rentals were temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, we provided recommendations for nearby rental services within a five-minute walk. Despite your preference to wait for our bikes, we prioritized repairing them promptly to enable you to enjoy biking during your stay. Additionally, should you require more personalized and detailed information about the area, we have available brochures, visitor offices nearby , and complimentary guided tours that our guests can utilize to maximize their experience and discover the local attractions.
