How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewMy stay at Muze Hotel was nothing short of perfect. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed by the warm and professional staff. The attention to detail in both service and design truly sets this hotel apart. The rooms are modern, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully decorated, with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. I especially loved the quiet location—just a short walk to the beach, but peaceful enough to unwind away from the crowds. Breakfast was a highlight each morning—fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Not your average buffet, but a carefully prepared meal that made me feel like a valued guest. The pool area is lovely, and the entire hotel has a calm, boutique feel that makes you want to stay longer. It’s clear that the owners put a lot of care into creating a special experience for their guests. I would absolutely recommend Muze Hotel to anyone visiting Ksamil. Whether you’re here for a romantic getaway, family trip, or just some time to relax, this place is a gem. Can’t wait to return!

Verified reviewThe owner and his wife personally take care of the small details, even of the small ones. Staff is also extremely helpful. I should emphasize the breakfast as well, which is excellent in terms of quality and variety!
There is nothing really we did not like. My only recommendation would be to operate a restaurant within the hotel and offer room service, as there are not many a la carte restaurants nearby, and delivery applications in Albania don't cover Ksamil.

Verified reviewReally everything! The hotel is brand new, very tastefully designed and decorated, the room and bathroom were spacious, the balcony was the perfect plus and the bed was very comfy. Then location was perfect: just a few minutes walk from the beaches and from the restaurants, but aside from the noisy parts of Ksamil. The breakfast was fresh every day, with a very good variety of savoury and sweet options. And to finish, the owners and the staff were all super kind and welcoming people!
Nothing to report

Verified reviewThis is one of the nicest and friendliest hotels Ive ever stayed at in travelling for 50 years. Thank you so much Robert and Zoi for a most wonderful stay at your beautiful hotel.
There is literally no room for improvement, as this is the most perfect, modern, welcoming and amazing hotel.

Verified reviewAbsolutely beautiful and well maintained hotel. New modern rooms. Pool is a highlight, I could stay out there all day. The staff are so nice and accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful, an option for everyone. Loved the yogurt bar options. No view as it’s slightly away from the beach, but not a major issue.
No restaurant in the hotel (aside from breakfast), there are many in town to choose from so not a major problem. No beach associated with the hotel, but quite a few close by where you can pay for umbrellas / chairs.

Verified reviewWe booked this last minute to arrive same day as our booking. 2 night stay. Last room. We were in luck. So lucky! This place is hands down the best place in Ksamil. It is on walking distance from the clubs but far away enough not to hear the noise. It is 100m away from Paradise Beach and Principotes. It has a beautiful swimming pool but we did not bother because the hotel mgmt helped us with same day reservations for the beach. All personnel here adheres to the highest standards of hotel service, on an international level, like a mini-oasis in Albania. It’s a few km away from Butrint which I just ran to and back. The garage has a gate so your car is safe. This place is expensive, and soooo worth it. Book this place. I hope for you it is still available when reading this.
Zero room for improvement. Top class! Keep it up.

Verified reviewThe breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, varied, and beautifully presented every morning! The location was perfect: peaceful yet close to everything we needed, with stunning views and lovely surroundings. The hotel is brand new, beautifully designed, and every detail has been thoughtfully considered to ensure maximum comfort. It was spotlessly clean, and the rooms were incredibly spacious. The staff were kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The family, Zo and Bertie, are by far the kindest hosts we’ve ever met — genuinely warm and welcoming. A special thank you as well to the night receptionist Florian, bartender Florians, Ornella and cleaning staff for always being helpful and treating every request with kindness and professionalism. This stay truly exceeded all our expectations!
Honestly, there’s absolutely nothing to criticize — everything was perfect!

Verified reviewThe reception girl was extremely nice and welcoming, the food was delicious and fresh, the hotel is very clean and new. Very close to the beach (30 euro per a sun umbrella).
The pool was very very small, there was a guy over there that was not nice and even was mad and rude when we opened the sun umbrellas at the pool. The spa is not opened yet and its a very small hotel, and also expensive related to other hotels which look bigger and much more attractive.

Verified reviewHotel Muze is one of the nicest hotel I stayed in in a long time. Modern, elegant, beautiful design. The owners and the whole stuff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and well taken care of, especially Zo and Ornela. Don’t expect regular hotel buffet breakfast here. Once you sit down at your table you are treated with 5star breakfast. We were always asked what we wish to eat and everything was just exceptional. We stayed in one of the family rooms and felt very comfortable. Rooms are very nice and you have everything you need, even toiletries. I always appreciate little details such as little dark face towels for example. Zoe the owner speaks very well English and I got to learn a lot about Albania and Ksamil region. Saying goodbye was hard. We really felt great and welcome. We are already planning on coming back to Ksamil next year and we will for sure come stay at Hotel Muze again.

Do ta rekomandoja me zemër dhe do të rikthehem sërish! 🌞
