I’d say it’s more like serviced apartments than a hotel, which was fine, but when we first arrived we thought we had the wrong place since it seemed deserted. All good - the owners respond really quickly when messaged and are brilliant ☺️

Huge apartment, beautifully clean with everything we needed and more! It’s in a quiet street but minutes from the main street. There’s a very chilled little cafe on the corner which we loved.

The room was large and comfortable with aircon and we were able to leave our suitcase free for a few days while we did the Valbone-Theth hike which was super helpful. The location was a minute away from the main strip in town, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby and close to the bus stop for the regional busses.

Everything was perfect.

 We booked the Deluxe King Room, basically a lovely fully equipped new flat with one double bed, one single bed, plus a separate sofa and private bathroom. Fast wifi. Delightfully clean and quiet with a nice balcony. Great safe central location,  but still calm just off the southern end of the main pedestrian street of the old town, totally away from any traffic noise. Easy to find just 15 minutes walk from the information centre and pick up vans to many destinations. Pepe, the Albanian owner is very responsive and a delight. He is a French trained pastry chef, and speaks excellent English, French and Italian. We enjoyed spending time with him and eat his croissants at his popular bakery a few minutes away. Vila Pepe will be our go to place in Shkoder.

The hospitality of Joseph was perfect.A very kind and helpful man, really warm character.He helped us with transport to Theth and back and allowed us to leave our luggage at his hotel , whilst on our short break. The location is central...only 5 mins walk from bus station.It is in a lovely area of bars and restaurants The hotel is exceptionally clean

The host and his wife are lovely people. The location is perfect, near all the action but tucked away so that it is quiet. The room was large, super clean, and very comfortable. We are traveling for 2 months so it was nice to be able to prepare some of our own meals and to have access to a washer and drying rack. Do visit the owner’s bakery nearby. He makes amazing croissants.

Can’t complain as I had everything needed

The hotel’s location is excellent, just a short distance from the town centre. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making communication easy and responding quickly to any queries. They also went above and beyond to help us find parking spaces. The room itself was very large and spacious, and included a Smart TV for added convenience.

Amazing accomodation! Josef was a welcoming, kind host. He greeted us and showed us to the room. It is very central (a short walk to cafes and restaurants, the bus station, and the shuttle pick-up point for the Valbonë - Theth hike. We did the hike and Josef kindly let us store our bags until we returned). Everything is very clean, the room and shared bathroom are spacious, and the air con was a great escape from the hot weather. We had a busy trip, but were able to visit Josef’s bakery to try his croissants… so good! We can’t recommend the accomodation more. Thanks from New Zealand for your hospitality & kindness 🙏🏻

Hotel Villa Pepe is incredibly clean, very well furnished, and a great value for the money. We found the room so comfortable and it had everything we needed. The real highlight though is the exceptional hospitality of the host! He messaged in advance to check our arrival time, assisted with shuttle and ferry tickets to and from Valbone and Theth, answered any and all questions we had, and allowed us to store our luggage while we were up in the mountains. Also, he is an incredible baker and treats you to a coffee and croissant at his bakery in the morning 🙂 Would definitely recommend and return! Thank you!

The hotel is located in an alley, which makes it a bit difficult to find at first. The host is aware of this and is waiting for us!

the accommodation has a very good location and is central and strategic. The host is a very pleasant man and super nice. all the necessities were there and it was clean!
