The shower was flow and position meant the shower room floor got soaked after every shower. The breakfast wasn’t great.

- Breakfast was a bit limited - there was little variety from day to day. It was filling, but a bit more variety would have been nice. - WiFi was free but it was very unreliable. - The layout of the bathroom didn’t make much sense and there was no door on the shower, this means everything gets wet even if you are trying to be careful. - It would have been nice to have had a slight discount as a guest of the hotel in the restaurant.

- It is right on the beach - less than 10 seconds to walk. - The room was a decent size and the beds were comfortable. - It was nice to not have to pay for sunbeds. - Staff were friendly and helpful. - Room was cleaned every day to a good standard. - The attached restaurant was good and offered a nice variety of dishes for a fair price. - The hotel is close to many different restaurants and shops so there is plenty of choice for meals. - It is possible to walk into Durrës (40 minutes if walking slowly) - Beds were fairly comfortable.

Shower head was broken and one day there was no warm water for couple of hours.

Very good location, right at the beach. Breakfast buffet was good and had some variety every morning. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sea view was beautiful.

The breakfast was poor, not a lot of choice and the quality of what was there was poor. Tea and coffee was cold. The bread and the pastries felt stale.

The hotel is in a great location on the beach with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants close by. The hotel has sunloungers on the beach that are free for hotel guests. The room was fine for what we needed and included a fridge that was helpful for keeping our water cold. The staff were mostly helpful. Although the restaurant staff were not very attentive.

It has an elevator but you still have to take stairs to get to the lobby. Wouldn't work for a handicapped person and not fun to lug luggage up and down the stairs. Bathroom has a partially open shower resulting in a lot of water on the floor after showering.

The room (the 3 beds version) was quite small, the bathroom had plumbing/ pipes issues resulting in waves of strange smell. Bathroom itself is tiny and crowded. Breakfast not varied, it is almost the same every day. Fridge in the room was most of the time overheating the exterior closet inclosure.

The reception staff is very polite and professional - they helped us check in really early (even before 11 AM), once the room was available. Hotel location is quite good. The facilities are welcoming families with kids. The mattress of the bed is comfortable. Really nice view from the balcony. Air conditioning was working really well.

Perhaps it is just a quirk of mine, but I was a bit disappointed that the cooked foods at breakfast (e.g. eggs and sausages) were not kept in a warming tray. Other that that, the breakfast buffet was satisfactory.

The location of the hotel was as close to the beach as possible. Since that was the primary reason for my visit, this was an important aspect. The room was quite comfortable and clean, and all necessities were supplied. The room which they assigned to me had a lovely balcony and I could see the beach and sea very easily. The price of the hotel room included the use of a beach umbrella and also daily breakfast. These things all added to a relaxation of the holiday. If I were to return to Durres, I would certainly consider booking Hotel Virginia.

The food. The food was relatively expensive and the cook didn't know how to grill the meat. If you go for a pizza or pasta you'll be ok.

The breakfast was usually cold , even the food that should have been warm. A coffee machine at breakfast would have been better as they kept making jugs of coffee, so you either had to wait or the coffee had gone cold. Also no kind of toaster at breakfast that there usually is and we use a lot.

The location was very good and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We asked reception to phone us a taxi for a short trip. They were all busy so the manager took us in his car. The room was lovely and clean and the sea view, which we had booked was lovely .The balcony was a lovely size to sit out in.

The iron was not available. The shower didn’t have a curtains so every time the bathroom was flooded while used.

It’s a nice place to stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The interior was pleasant. We had 2 rooms and both were nicely done. Very clean. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. Rooms were quite, no noice from the street overnight. Breakfast was good. Parking on site. Hotel is located just near beach. Clean beach with comfortable sunbeds.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The service was good, with the staff being both kind and attentive to all our needs. Breakfast was good and offered a good variety of options. Additionally, the hotel's location is convenient, with a public bus that takes you to the city center in just 15 minutes. Bathroom is uncomfortable, when you shower the bathroom will float, hot water inconsistent, couple of times just cold water from the shower. Sewer smell in the bathroom all the time.

Nice room with balcony and seaside view, comfortable bed. Quiet room and friendly and helpful staff.
