There are only 5 loungers for the whole (sizeable) indoor pool and spa. So when they are taken (e.g. by a single family with kids), the sauna becomes useless as you cannot go anywhere afterwards.

The room and the bed is slightly small, especially since we were with a toddler who sleeps with us. And the walls a bit thin.

The location, as it's isolated and quiet (even if there is music near the pool). Food very tasty. (If you want drink, try natural juice or herbal tea, black coffee, but not other coffee). Great time at pool, especially since it wasn't weekend, so not crowded both open and closed pools.

The air conditioning didn't work, so it was muggy with the windows closed, and with the windows open you could hear your neighbors talking and snoring.

The views are amazing. It's a short drive from the hotel to Amberd Fortress, Kari Lake and Saghmosavank monastery on the foot of the Mount Aragats. The staff are very helpful. You can arrange transportation and tours at the front desk. The staff are very helpful. I don't think you'll find a better view anywhere in Armenia as far as I know.

That people can smoke on the balcony. Thats the reason we coudnt use our balcony, as people next to us were smokers, so we werent able to sit outside at all.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel when it first opened 10 years ago, and I’ve recently returned for another visit. I must say, the experience has only gotten better with time. The staff are even more professional, and always ready to help. There’s a sense of calm confidence that only time and dedication can create. Every corner of the hotel reflects thoughtful care and continuous improvement. It’s rare to see a place not only maintain its original charm but also grow more perfect with each passing year. This is the hidden gem, with a 4-star level hospitality service. The welcoming water, fruits and sweets are so heartwarming. The hotel is clean, the buffet breakfast is very good, we were lucky to join the buffet dinner which was also great. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom has everything you need for comfortable stay.

There are no shops or regular cafes around the hotel which makes you order food from hotel's restaurant. The menu is quite expensive. Besides, if you want to buy a swimmimg suit, it starts from 7000 AMD. Another minus is nearly a total absence of noise insulation. We stayed in room 308 and all the talk in the corridor was clearly heard. The door lock system ( the key ) is somehow outdated and old fashioned.

Liked cleannes. Also I ordered a bouquet for my wife's birthday. They added a champaigne on behalf of the hotel which I appreciate very much. What I liked most was their manager's attitude who came and listened our proposals after the check out. The breakfast was exceptionally great.

The hotel room was very spacious and clean, they even upgraded it for free. In the rooms there were fruit, little sweets and beverages as a welcome gift. For breakfast there was a huge buffet with both savoury and sweet options. Honorable mention to the spa and the staff, who were very friendly and welcoming.

The only coffee available at breakfast was cheap granules... you had to pay extra for machine made coffees like an Americano. And only tea bags were provided in the rooms... no coffee. The staff weren't at all friendly. We rather felt like the guests were an inconvenience to them...... no service with a smile! There were lots of noisy young children around (mid week in May).

The views from this hotel are incredible - Mount Ararat may be 40+km away but it stands majestic in the distance and is breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel is modern and offers great facilities in an outstanding location - do drive up the hill to see the fortress and chapel - it's worth the 20 minute drive up there! The pool and spa facilities were great. And the dried fruit plate left in our rooms were delicious. Well stocked mini bars in the rooms.

The spa was underwhelming. The sauna starts at 5 pm, and the pool water was colder than ideal.

This hotel has the best view of Mount Ararat. It's located near the gorgeous sight of Amberd fortress. The location is really good. The staff is very kind. Food servings are very large!
