How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Amen was a very helpful and kind host. He gave us all the information we needed about Lake Sevan and the room was clean and very reasonably priced.

Very nice hotel new and clean equipment perfect location in centrum of Sevan friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant with local cuisine.

Everything was new and comfortable! The owner uses Google translate very smoothly in case you don't speak Armenian or Russian. We had a nice meal at the restaurant owned by the same owner (Parus Lunch) and we enjoyed a nice pint of beer made by the same guy! It was a great experience and the place is totally recommended!

Clean and comfortable room, very helpful staff, very convenient location in town centre (and you can reach Sevanavank or the lake with a 10/15 minutes ride, obviously provided by YandexGo! 😉. The brewery is a good place to try armenian cognac the true way (with lemon slices, sugar and coffe powder: incredibly delicious!). And in the nearby, absolutely to try Boheme Tea House: don't trust the name, it's a restaurant!

There is no air conditioner, though the nights are cooler anyways

Great location in the center of Sevan town, and also the freshest beer in the city poured right from the brewery taps. Loved it.

A fantastic choice. Sevan city was pleasant and exceeded my expectations. The hotel was exactly in the very middle of the city on the main street. The hotel has a brewery, and the beer was delicious. The owner is very nice, and you will be in very good hands with anything you need. The room was great, luxury even. They have a cafe also, so if you need food you don't have to go anywhere else. Would definitely recommend you stay here if staying in Sevan.

I had a great time here. Perfect location. The owner is a super cool, friendly and helpful guy and ensures all is well with his guests. Also they have a great little eatery attached which has very good food and nice staff

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The kettle and fridge were useful. It had hot water continuously and it was warm. I would come back. The manager was very helpful.

Very convenient stay. The owner was very kind and helpful. Great hospitality. They run a small coffee shop as well, Panus coffee shop, we had a great meal, tasty and affordable!

Extremely nice owner. Decent sized, clean room with good facilities (fridge, fast wifi, netflix and youtube). Perfect location: walking distance to many restaurants and stores.

The hotel is in the very center, close to buses from Yerevan, groceries, and exchange. Nice dinner in the nearby cafe. Polite host.

Friendly and helpfull staff. He helped us getting our slowly deflating tire fixed, showed a garage and helped with translation. The hotel is great, would definitely recommend.

All was good about the hotel.
Location was very central to Sevan, plenty of shops and very near to the bus station to Yerevan. Room was brand new and clean, beds were comfortable. The owner, Armen, was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had about the city and even called the bus station for us to make sure we'd get a bus to Yerevan without much wait time. We ate at his restaurant which was delicious and got to try his great beer.

There is nothing negative to write about this hotel. The best we have stayed in during our Armenian visit.
An excellent family run hotel and adjoining cafe. The owner was super helpful and went out of his way to communicate and assist. The other staff were very polite and helpful. Food at the cafe is always fresh and highly recommended. The room was very clean and spacious, contemporary and well furnished with a great balcony overlooking street life.

Unfortunately the brewery wasn't in production at the time.
Good hotel in the centre of the town. Decent sized rooms and bathroom. Good little cafe connected to the hotel, with reasonable priced menu.
