How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

A small mistake during check out which was promptly rectified by the competent staff.
Clean and modern, good location and decent quality menu for room service. Staff was very polite and proactive. We had a nice room on the 13th floor with far views of Mount Ararat Peak covers in snow during summer time.

There isn't a good selection of TV channels. The refrigerator works only when the room card is inserted. When removing the card, it no longer works.

While breakfast was excellent and facilities are fair and clean the most biggest credit went to stuff. Their customer centricity and delivering exceptional service are on the highest level. Thank You for Your service, it would be nice and wise to visit Double Tree Yerevan again

I usually couldn’t sleep when traveling because of the bed and pillows but staying here is completely the opposite, me and my friend slept like a baby. The breakfast was amazing. Our room is squeaky clean. Especially the staffs are helpful and pleasant to talk with. I lost my cap on the cab and the reception staffs helped me to fix the issue and I got back the item. Amazing stay for us and will definitely come back.

Location isn’t very close to city center but close to IELTS centre. Very good experience with stuff, room, breakfast. Everything was amazing

Nothing much. Although there are not many restaurants in the neighborhood (still walking distance from the hotel). Few times I had a problem with WiFi connection.
Everything was great! The staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very tasty with a good selection. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a large bathroom. I felt the luxury without the stuffiness. Rather good location (close to the main square, walking distance). Gym was open 24/7. Nice wellness center with saunas.

Det hotel was modern and clean. Staf were friendly, helpful and accommodated all our requests. Breakfast buffet was good with a lot of choices.

Would have preferred not Italian but Armenian restaurant on-site, but thats a personal choice. The quality of the food was good regardless.
Good hotel, helpful staff, great spa center and massages. Convenient location for both city center and convention center nearby. Bar works till 4am, which is great but dangerous :)

Adjusting AC / room temperature is not possible as maximum it can go upto 21 to 17....and still room is very warm. Sometimes it can be little uncomfortable .

The hotel is not directly in the centre, we often had to walk 25-30 mins to get to the busy streets, restaurants, tour meeting points etc. Sadly, I did not receive a cookie on arrival.
The spa is amazing, much bigger than I expected and very clean and modern. They have a steam room, a sauna, an ice shower, and best of all, heated chaise longues. The room was a decent size and we had an insane view of Mount Ararat from our bedroom window.

All was fine.
The staff of the hotel is great. They're very responsive even through the booking process. All my questions were answered promptly and accurately. The front desk staff was well informed as was staff at breakfast. They welcomed me with a gluten free fresh bread and a desert made especially for me. It was amazingly thoughtful! The hotel and the staff pay attention to all the little details that make a stay memorable. Thank you all! Breakfast is great, with an excellent selection of everything. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and warm. The gym is very well equipped. The restaurant (and room service) have a very good selection of food. The food is well prepared, fresh and tasty.
