Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ArmeniaDespite the opulence of the hotel and the beauty of the surrounding nature, you don't feel relaxed in the hotel, it feels like everyone is watching so you don't make a wrong move. The rules are very strict. You don't feel like a welcome guest.
The hotel was excellent, the room was very clean. The forest was fantastic, like it was from fairy tale.

United Arab EmiratesNo hot water due to gas problems in town, still a hotel should cater for unforeseen issues like that.
Everything was great, but the food was exceptional

ArmeniaMaybe more facilities need to be added .
It's definitely one of the greatest hotels you can stay in Armenia. A place where everything is super cozy, comfortable and relaxing. It was all neat and seemed to be brand new. Staff were friendly and nice. Everything was high quality-the restaurant , the service and the rooms as well.

United StatesThere was a dog barking throughout the night. The dog is a resident of the hotel and many other guests complained that it bothered their rest. There is also little to no flexibility for checkout, so you must be out by 12 PM. This is a bit frustrating, since check in is at 2PM - so you get less than 24 hours stay per night. Lastly, while the breakfast was delicious - they recently changed from an ala carte menu (with Eggs Benedict choices, etc) to a buffet. The sauna is also full of random objects, and not easily utilized by guests.
The aesthetic is very modern. The hotel is extremely clean. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the cocktails were prepared by a talented barman. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the multiple lounge areas.

PortugalThe fact that the air conditioning does not work. It has a fan which does help to cooler the room, but the air conditioning command that stays on the wall is always off and when we asked the staff about it they said it did no work.
The hotel has a beautiful decoration it is placed in a quiete area of Vanadzor.

ArmeniaThe hotel is located in a tranquil area, however, the dogs barking all night until the wee hours impacted our sleep, which is not the hotel's fault (the room did not have an AC, so we had to keep the windows open for the night). Other than that we had a fantastic stay at this property and plan to return for longer stays!
Proximity to nature and beautiful green scenery, clean and tastefully appointed rooms, comfy beds and linens, thoughtful staff, delicious food, nice ambiance at the restaurant and courtyard, EV charging at the hotel parking, free internet, etc.

ArmeniaThe room was too warm for us, but at night it got pretty cold. We only didnt like the bedding, as it was too firm for us. But considering the other benefits, younsimply ignore it
I think this is the best luxorious designer hotel you can find in Vanadzor. The staff is handpicked, with excellent service. Location is amazing with forests from all sides. The hotel restaurant was also very high quality, which served us both dinner and breakfast. Very delicious avodaco benedict with smoked armenian trout. The best benefit is large botanical garden near the hotel. And you get free entrance as a horel guest!

UkraineIt is very hot in the rooms during the summer, especially those on the 4th floor. The restaurant was the worst experience; it was very bad, though the breakfast wasn’t as bad. The hotel is very expensive for the services provided. To be honest, I do not recommend this hotel. They have a lot of things to fix before hosting guests. There is no elevator, which is very inconvenient. We stayed for one night, and it was the worst night ever. We did not sleep at all because the room was extremely hot, and there was no AC to cool it down.
The rooms were clean and well designed. They are located near the forest so the air was very fresh.

RussiaStaff should pass trainings for more quality service. Policies for children from 6 y old are not reasonable, they charge you 10000 AMD for extra bed. Overall the hotel is overpriced.
Modern comfortable rooms, perfect location steps from the nice and cozy garden.

Armenia• Partial view - Two-thirds of the view from the window, as promised, was occupied by the forest, but one-third had overflowing garbage cans. • Occasional slow service - Waiting for the order took over an hour on a Friday evening in the half-empty restaurant; • Morning noise - On Saturday around 8 a.m., the silence was disrupted by staff conversations under the windows, and a constant sound signal at the service gate. The gate makes an automatic signal when being opened upon pressing the button.
• Wonderful design - Great attention to every detail; • Polite and friendly staff; • Delicious cuisine; • Comfortable bed; • One-Bedroom Suite has a bathtub, which my wife greatly enjoyed!
