How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I booked this room because it was listed on Booking with a pool, sadly there was no pool, the kids were very disappointed…
We explained to you that the previous day there was a hurricane and heavy rain, so the pool was closed, we even said that you could look at the weather forecast and you agreed. Well, what to do, it's up to you🤔

Verified reviewIt is about 10-minute walk to the Republic Square and there are a bus station and a metro station nearby, it is very convenient to go anywhere no matter on foot or by public transport. The host couple are very kind and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, I stayed there for 12 nights but the breakfast they provided was different every day! I enjoyed staying there very much.

Verified reviewEverything. If you want to stay for a quiet and peaceful place then this is a perfect accommodation for you. It is also very clean! It is hosted by a humble hosts especially Bhagrat who supported me in my entire stay. From adjusting the bfast time till I left from the hotel. There are a lot of things I wanted to share but one of the most special things he offered was when I told him that I have to skip the bfast the following day coz my tour will start very early. He was listening to me and he told not to worry as he will pack my bfast for me which he did! Also he’s the one who’s more concern of my time. He always reminds me of my tour and concern of the traffic. Just like my parents lol. And above anything else, I was surprised when he gave me something before I left from there to airport. The saddest past was leaving as I felt like leaving my grandparents home. I will definitely come back! Thank you Bhagrat. Wait for my return.. 🥰

Verified reviewGreat service by Bagrat. He was attentive and kind during our whole stay and gave us tips when we asked. The breakfast was exceptional! Every day something new and we could choose a time between 8 and 11am which was perfect! The hotel is located on a noisy street but super close to all the important Yerevan tourist spots and always with a great parking spot in front of the hotel which is under CCTV.
The street was a bit noisy but there is nothing the hotel can do about that

Verified reviewFor anyone reading this unsure whether to book this hotel - I had a fantastic time and was looked after really well. The communication was great, the breakfast was lovingly prepared and served at a time of my choosing, and the host even helped me with a very late taxi to the airport for an onward flight after I had checked out. The room was pleasant, the beds comfortable. Air conditioning was quiet and worked perfectly well. The hotel throughout was very clean, and if I find myself in Yerevan again I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again.

No lift Too many stairs to the top floor Too noisy children crying non-stop Doors were not sound proof Toilet seat clean but not hygienic and not disinfected. As a result I have caught a very painful medical condition called fissure. Breakfast not good. Not self service.
To put it mildly, what you wrote was not the truth!!! Before your arrival, you wrote a question through booking and asked that you be accommodated on the top floor and away from the elevator. I told you that we don’t have an elevator and your room is on the top floor. You came, saw all this, paid for the reservation, stayed 3 nights, ate all the breakfasts and left with thanks. You had allergies, and you even went outside in a jacket and hat in this heat. If you got sick with us, you would immediately tell me, I’m sure you would also take other steps. Our cleanliness is 10+, the toilet is every day and they disinfect it in front of you. Don't be ashamed to write lies🤔

Verified reviewThe accommodation is good, located in a quiet location, around 13/15 minutes walk away from the Republic Square. The breakfast is tasty and it varies every day. The owner is very helpful and he will try to help with any inquiry. Around the area you have a place to exchange money inside a supermarket. Moreover, there is also few restaurants.
