How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.

Location is horrible!! You worry you will puncture the tires and makes you feel uncomfortable to leave at night it’s in the middle of the mountain and road is very dark. Electricity outlets don’t work too and I sat 10 min at restaurant waiting for menu nobody got it I just went to my room after that. Overall room is ok but for the price you can get better.

Verified reviewThe personnel were very nice. Also the breakfast was variable and tasty. The garden itself is also very pleasant.
The room was not in the main building, but in another building on the street and that was not mentioned anywhere. Also, the room’s had a paper thin wall / door and every noise can be heard in the room.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was disappointing. When we arrived around 23:30, we discovered that the bed sheets were very dirty and hadn’t been changed. Since there were no cleaners available at that time, we asked the receptionist for fresh sheets so we could change them ourselves. He brought a set, but it only included bedding for one person, so we had to call again and wait for a full set for two. Later that night, around 00:30, the receptionist knocked on our door to inform us that water from our bathroom had leaked into the room below. We had to get up again to inspect the issue and adjust the shower drain to stop the leak. Overall, the experience was quite frustrating and we would rate it 3–4 out of 10.

Verified reviewThe accommodation is new and rather clean, with a nice minimalist interior. The bed is comfortable, there’s free parking outside, good Wi-Fi, and the neighborhood is quiet.
I booked a Double Deluxe room and received confirmation, but shortly afterward, the staff called to inform me that the room type was no longer available and offered a standard room instead. We accepted, as we didn’t want to deal with last-minute rebooking just before our departure. Upon arrival, we discovered that a wedding party was taking place in the hotel restaurant and would last until 11 PM. Although we were placed in a new building and assured there would be no noise, it was clearly audible in our room. Additionally, sounds from neighboring rooms were also very noticeable, which made it difficult to relax. Despite being placed in a standard room, we were charged the deluxe rate (?), and offered a free breakfast as compensation – even though the hotel doesn’t officially offer breakfast. This actually made me wonder if breakfast is always included, as suggested by some other reviews. Our room faced a house across the street instead of the mountains, as advertised, and the heating was uncomfortably hot with no clear way to regulate it. Overall, this was far from the relaxing stay we had hoped for.

We really tried to do everything possible to minimize the noise from the event in the restaurant, and accommodated you in the new building, as far as possible from the party zone. We regret that this was not enough for complete comfort. Regarding the room change: upon confirmation of the reservation, we promptly contacted you to inform you that, unfortunately, the Deluxe room with one double bed has run out on the dates you need. Since you indicated a preference for this particular configuration, we offered a Standard room, where it was available, and also included a free breakfast as a sign of our concern - although it was not originally included in the tariff. There're everything you need in the room fresh towels, fridge, etc. The hotel is far enough from the city center, so it is quiet and cozy. Comfortable to come in to the hotel by own car. If no car and you don't want to go up the hill where the hotel is, you always can order a taxi and it's pretty cheap:))) And many thanks to the hotel staff for meeting us late at night and checking in! Everyone is polite and ready to help <3
Not dealbreakers but zones of growth: 1. The room was cleaned below average: hair on the floor, marks in the bathroom. It didn't look terrible, but noticeable and could have been better 2. Breakfast are rather monotonous and not to say that tasty: a choice of porridge, eggs, yogurt. Different kinds of cheese are cool, but it can be hard to eat breakfast this way for more than 2 days (!!! still convenient cause there're no groceries within a 5 mins walk of the hotel)
