How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe best staff I’ve ever met – polite, always ready to help, quick to respond to requests and give useful advice about Yerevan. The location is right in the city center. The room is modern and very spacious.
The only downside was the noise from the street – with music in the evenings and traffic throughout the night, I had to sleep with earplugs. The bedding could be improved: the sheets were not pure cotton, rather polycotton, and the pillows and duvets felt quite light and synthetic. Thus, it didn’t fully meet the standard I would expect from a 4-star hotel. Next time I’m gonna stay in a chain hotel since they’re more predictable.

Small maintenance issues in the bathroom, the spray gun was leaking, and the shower rod was loose. It wasn't a big issue ,so we informed the front desk staff during checkout.

The hotel serves breakfast but only in room as there is no restaurant; we had nice breakfast in nearby restaurants Camilla and Cafe de Angelo

Verified reviewEvery single administrator was tremendously friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, very convenient, stylish, had everything needed - including shave kit and comb. The view is amazing as well. I liked that each room has its own floor. I Personnel is extremely friendly and is pleasure to deal with.
There’s nothing I didn’t like, it’s rather a recommendation for future: your breakfast would be ordered by must.

• The room was too small for a family stay; suitable only for two people. • The hotel does not offer any real 4-star facilities as expected. • There is no restaurant or proper dining area; breakfast in the room was not very comfortable. • No parking available. • The star rating can be misleading compared to international 4-star standards.

We serve personalized breakfast to the room, which many guests find nice, especially thae possibility to have breakfast in the room balcony. Verified reviewThis hotel is located in the center of town, which is perfect for getting a taste of Yerevan. The room had everything we needed with a beautiful view of the Armenian National Opera building and Swan Lake. The staff were friendly and warm and made us feel very welcomed.

Verified reviewWe had a fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by an amazing staff member at the front desk—a lovely girl who made us feel right at home. Later in the evening, the gentleman on the evening shift was equally friendly and professional. Both of them truly made our experience special. The housekeeping team did a great job—our room was always clean, fresh, and well-kept. The location is also perfect, close to everything we needed and easy to get around. Everything was just perfect. We’ll definitely be back!
A couple of small suggestions: There was no curtain in the washroom, and with two windows directly opposite, it felt a bit exposed. Hopefully this can be added by our next visit. Also, the corridor leading from the washroom to the bedroom felt a bit empty and bland. Since the hotel has a London theme, it would be lovely to see some themed artwork or decorative elements to give it more character. Overall, a wonderful stay with only minor things that could easily be improved.
