How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I discovered one day before my arrival that I need an extra room for my two kids (they just allow 1 extra child per room ). That cost me twice the price I was expecting to pay . Hotel has a dog called Sonrisa and it seems the manager doesn’t allow the staff to provide food for her.

Verified reviewThe room was lovely, and the views were stunning. The shuttle bus in and out to the town was great. The croissants at breakfast were delicious.
The heat.... it was far too warm in the hotel for our liking, but the rooms had air con, which was great, and we were able to turn down the under floor heating, which helped in the room. But for us, the hotel was a bit too warm.

The view from our room, underneath is just dirt and construction material. We were on second floor so it's very visible... And the shuttle service between hotel and city center is very limited with an inconvenient timing. We either walked an hour to reach the town (but the scenery is amazing so we didn't mind), or took taxi.

Verified reviewI would book this hotel only for it’s location and very nice views on the Argentina lake 😅 the building and the rooms (design) are also nice! the rest is just OK, nothing really special and very average service. Cleaning is everyday. It’s not in the city center - you need to use a (limited) shuttle service or a taxi. The walk to Reserva Nimez is nice but around 30 min or so.
For such a nice building and location, it would have been nice to have a better ‘content’! The breakfast is average, not many options but basic things. I didn’t like that the swimming pool is hot actually. The sauna is just ok, nothing special in the spa area. The rooms are not soundproof - you can hear literally everything from the neighbors. The bottles of water in the room are not for free. No slippers - they gave me something old and of different sizes when I asked for it. The spa area doesn’t look new.

Verified reviewThe room and view were excellent on the 4th floor. The spa tub was wonderful. We enjoyed the breakfast. And we really liked the sauna and pool.
The restaurant situation was a little confusing. What times you could eat, why you needed reservations, what was served when. It seemed to change and especially based on the waiter. Some waiters would come to your table, some waiters wouldn't and you'd have to go to the bar to order. It was a little odd.

Verified reviewReception was generally helpful with arranging things like a shuttle and a massage at the spa. The saunas were nice and the massage therapist was good.
We had a terrible meal for lunch. I ate a few bites and could not finish the rest of it. The staff were not attentive to our table at all and seemed to only care for the two larger tables. They never checked in on us, only to take our order and bring our meal, and never asked how our meal was when bringing the check. Our bathroom flooded during our stay and we had to move rooms. It was nice that the staff gave us a room with a better view but at no point did anyone check on us, give us a room key or anything we had to go and ask them for keys to our new room. We also had paid for breakfast and I've never had a 4-star hotel say no we don't do a grab and go breakfast since we had an early start with a flight. They said they would see what they could do, and luckily in the morning they provided us with a few different types of bread/croissants but nothing more. The massage facilities could also be better. There is very little privacy (rooms are separated by a curtain, and the window looks out to the pool). Also there was no music which is a bit awkward when getting a massage to have complete silence. Overall it was a bad experience and not something I would expect from a 4-star hotel.

Verified reviewIt’s a very modern beautiful design
There is no soundproofing whatsoever, so the people in the next room are loud and even if they spoke softly, I could hear them as if they were next to me so I could not sleep and they even had to change me to another room at 1 AM in the middle of the night so I could get a night sleepbecause the other room the man was coughing all night and that kept me awake. Also, the toilet never worked and they had to come to fix it every day for the three days I stayed there and it still never worked.

The restaurant has a lot to improve. Food was disappointing. They weren't really able to make coffee - it took them forever and the coffee turned out to be watery.

Verified reviewThe room was a good size with a comfortable bed. Wonderful view over Lake Argentina. Had tea and coffee facility with fridge. We loved the swimming pool which was warm. We used the laundry facilities which were very prompt. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. We checked in early with no problem.
