Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThis place is a hidden gem in Ushuaia! A beautifully run small hostel, without pretensions but with all the comfort needed for a great stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful, attentive to the needs of those that do not know the city. Breakfast was not fancy, more like a typical Argentinian style breaksfast, but more than sufficient to sustain me for several hiking hours. It was wonderful to have access to tea and water throughout the day, and the use of the pantry. Seating higher in the city landscape gives you privileged views of the bay, city and mountains across. The views from the rooms and breakfast area are incredible! It is a quiet and safe area, that it is also a few blocks from the bustling main street and port. I look forward to coming back!

GermanyWe had a really good time at the hosteria. From the breakfast room and common area you have a great view towards the Beagle Canal and Chile. Depending on your room, you might have the same view. Matias, Florencia and Gabriel are super friendly and helpful. Florencia and Gabriel prepared a lovely breakfast every morning and Matias did the check in and gave recommendations for tours or restaurants. For the location, as Ushuaia is build on a mountain you have everywhere to go a bit uphill, same for the hosteria. In less than 10 minutes you can reach the main street San Martín Ave when going down (going back takes a bit longer). The room was fine, and there was a heating.

United KingdomVery comfortable, family run, hostel in convenient location. Staff were really friendly and helpful and gave good recommendations for eating and things to do. My daughter was very impressed with the breakfast and water pressure in the shower. Short walk down the hill to the main tourist areas. Really enjoyed our stay in Ushuaia.

United StatesMy advice is to ask for the room with a view.
Flo and Gabriel are lovely hosts and they made this hosteria very charming and welcoming for their guests. The view from the breakfast room is fabulous, and breakfast is perfect. They will give you plenty of good advice for restaurants and tours around Ushuaia. The access to downtown is super easy.

We loved staying in this property. We booked a room with a view and we were upgraded to a larger room. The room was large, comfortable , clean and had everything we needed, a fridge, hairdryer, powerful shower and it was really warm. The breakfast was lovely and there was a lovely common area we could use which was fantastic after a long days hiking. The property is close to the Main Street and all of the amenities of Ushuia but still in a very quiet location. The hosts were so lovely and friendly they really made it a great stay .

We were very happy with our stay. It is a family-run hotel, with an excellent location, just a few minutes away from the city center. The views from the dining room are spectacular. Gabriel, Florencia, and Ella (hosts) made us feel very welcome. They had good recommendations about tours and also arranged taxis for us. The breakfast in the morning is complete with access to tea and coffee throughout the day. It is a very cute and pretty hotel. Would highly recommend it.

United KingdomThe bathroom was tiny with one of those shower curtains that stick to you whilst trying to shower. But compared to all the positives of this guesthouse, it was a minor issue. We would absolutely recommend this guesthouse to others and would not hesitate to stay there again if we were ever lucky enough to return to Ushuaia.
This is a lovely homely type of guesthouse with just a small number of rooms. It is situated up a fairly steep hill away from the immediate town centre. It has excellent views over the channel towards the mountains. We stayed in the triple room with mountain view. The view was indeed excellent and a triple just gave the two of us more room. It was very comfortable and warm and everything worked. The road and all the immediate area was really quiet. There was cheap Uber all over town so no need to have to walk uphill after an evening out. There are lots of good restaurants and bars in town. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They gave up lots of information about services around and all the places of interest to visit. The breakfast was fine.
