Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The breakfast exceeded our expectations, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the genuine hospitality of the owner. He was always attentive, ready to help with anything we needed, and shared great tips and recommendations, all with a warm smile that made us feel at home. The accommodation is perfectly located in the city center, with everything just a short walk away. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Danny and his wife were very nice, super helpful and welcoming. The location was great just behind the main road of shops and close by to a supermarket. The room was nice and great value for money.

The owner - Danny - went out of his way to make sure I had a great vacation. He even provided private transportation at a very reasonable price to the departure point of a glacier cruise and upon its completion

The room and the facilities in the room are extremely basic.
Downtown location. Great value at a cost of less than 45 Euros per night including breakfast. Both the breakfast staff member and the three reception staff members treated you as a family member. Bteakfast was good and some cakes were homemade. This time I had the Torres number 5 room.

Nothing to complain about
A great place to stay with very helpful and friendly owners who really go all out to help you make your stay as good as possible. The local restaurants are all nearby and the owners recommendation was superb!

Very friendly and helpful people. Danny picked us up at the bus terminal for free and they booked bus tickets to El Chalten for us. Very basic room but absolutely clean. Simple but delicious breakfast. Location is perfect.

Breakfast is very basic
Great location in a quite street. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very small but well equipped. Hot water for mate aleays available.

Nothing - it was great for a short stay.
Lovely family run b&b. It truly feels like you’re in someone’s home. Can’t recommend the hosts Elly and her husband enough. They are fantastic. Yes, it’s cheap and a little small, but great as long as you go in with the right expectations. Breakfast was not as basic as people shared - toast, jams, cakes, cookies, juice, water, and yogurt.

Shower head was too tall. Needed to take it off to properly shower and was even hard to take it off. Rest was fine
Great central location. Simple room. Place run by a family (normal in the area). Fun theme of Argentine soccer league. Nothing fancy but we just needed a place to stay before flying out after Chalten. Breakfast is simple too but you are getting fed and not all places do so

Danny and his family are wonderful hosts - they were very kind and accommodating. The room was a decent size with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom with a good-sized shower. The breakfast nook was nice and the food and coffee were especially good. It was not luxurious but it was very comfortable and felt warm and inviting. It's just around the block from the main street/Centre area, great location.

The family running the hostel we very pleasant and helpful. The hostel is close to the center of town. There are great eats around it.
