The location is great, the staff are so friendly and helpful and it was quite social when we were there. The kitchen is good, well equipped and the breakfast is nice.

We stayed a night and was received warmly by reception. It was awesome to be able to pay with card instead of cash. Location was superb and only a couple of minutes walk to the main road. Towels were provided and the beds were comfortable. Full kitchen with stove top and fridge are available too.

Great location, cosy little spot perfect for the traveller who’s going to dump there stuff and do activities throughout the day. This is a hostel so keep that in mind when booking, we booked a private room with bathroom, which was ok. I think the shared shower and toilet was a lot nicer though. The shared kitchen is really good, breakfast is pretty basic with toast, cereal and some fruit. El calafate is very expensive so utilising the supermarket and shared kitchen saved a few bucks.

Excellent staff at reception, extremely helpful. I took an extra blanket as I was chilly, the next day I discovered hairs on it, long brown couldn’t possibly be mine.

Very lumpy pillows and mattress. Breakfast could be better - no fruit or butter available and the scrambled eggs a bit hard and dry.

Beds could be more comfortable, I also missed a second pillow. Facilities and room interiour were not new, but still in a decent condition.

Love how friendly is Max! He is always there to help, so as Cecilia. The guesthouse has a friendly atmosphere. Room is spacious and clean. Central location. Decent kitchen for meal prep.

I stayed in a 4-bed dorm. The good: Nice staff, nice common space, friendly neighbourhood dog Omero who likes to play fetch with pinecones. The bad: No soap in the bano, this was really disappointing. Every bano should have soap for hand washing. Also, I would not recommend this place if you are tall. Bedroom ceilings were about 2.3m and the top bunk does not have much clearance. On the bottom, I hit my head on the bunk bed's sharp corners several times. Yes I'm clumsy but these beds have built-in hazards. The room was small. And the power outlet was not beside my bed.

The staff were very accommodating and when we got there the toilet seat was broken and they arranged for it to be fixed the next morning, good service.

There is a lot of noise from the local dogs and birds, SERIOUSLY! Also the heat was on in our room and couldn’t be turned off. The towels were very scratchy and not soft. Pillows need to be updated .

Staff were brilliant, breakfast was basic but good. Kitchen was small but therefore encouraged chattering amongst guests. Perfect place, I stayed for a couple of nights and would have stayed longer if I could.
