The staff, reception location and cleanliness of the hotel were all great. I found the staff particularly helpful whenever I asked them for information about the area or excursions and they were able to help me to book shared return transport to the airport. The hotel is located one street back from the main high street, this means that there are lots of good restaurant and bars within easy walking distance. It's also convenient for excursion pick ups and drop offs. There is also a comfortable communal sitting room and fridge that you can use.

The breakfast was uninspiring and limited for me, however other guests seemed content, so perhaps I was unfairly applying European expectations?

A very well located hotel just a block from the main street of El Calafate. The room was comfortable. Breakfast is served in your room at your chosen time. Staff were friendly and very helpful to suggest and organise trips and taxis. This is a great and well priced choice for El Calafate and I highly recommend it.

Great location. Very quiet.

We had a nice large room, but it was quite dark.

Nature vibe.

The bed sheets looks like it wasn’t change. Some dirty crumbs noted under the blanket. The desk was notified and they acted on it right away, they change the bed with new and better sheets and blankets. Better and comfortable.

Very friendly nice staff! Nice, quiet and cozy small hotel that is one block away from the busy main street. The breakfast offers fresh fruit cut which I like the most.

We enjoyed our time at Kau Kaleshen. The staff were helpful and friendly. The feeling of Kau Kaleshen is relaxed and welcoming. The backyard is green and feels private. We parked our care on the street in front. One can walk about a half mile or so to the Laguna Nimez nature reserve, where we saw an Andean fox (zorro colorado), flamingos, and many other birds. We ate dinner at Kau Kalashen as well and enjoyed it very much; all the staff were very friendly at breakfast and dinner. The front desk staff helped us obtain our Glacier National Park tickets.

WiFi was slow and breakfast area was small when there were lots of people were all trying to get breakfast at the same time.

Profits to Main Street

Heating was difficult to control, door lock old and difficult to use with old fashioned key. Breakfast was the worst I have ever experienced. The same items came out over the course of 3 days. Fruit turned brown and mushy. Bread crumbly. Poor internet.

Friendly and helpful staff named Franco. Helped a to book tour, taxi svcs. Hotel has a garden inside and just one block from main road.

Lovely staff and a great location.

The property is beautiful, located right in the middle of the city center, yet on a quiet street with no disturbance. The staff is super friendly. They speak English and try to help by providing as much information as possible. They even arranged a taxi for us to go to the airport. We stayed for one night. The room was comfortable and big - nothing to complain. The restaurant is cozy and serves delicious local cuisine (a bit pricey maybe).

Decent location and a nice room. Accommodating staff, who allowed me to leave my bag all day and pay after I’d checked out.

Location was perfect. One block from El Calafate’s main shopping district. Lionel and the rest of the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Great location one block from Main Street. Franco was super helpful via WhatsApp arranging car ride from airport. Nothing fancy but perfect for what we were looking for
