Although close to city centre, a part of the walk down to town was steep and full of rubbish. Although good communication via Whatsapp, there was no opportunity to talk to anyone face to face. Only one entrance/room key was problematic for two of us who like to go out at different times.

No way to adjust heat, it was boiling inside and staff didn’t respond. Had window open in a snowstorm to try to cool it down. Bad night of sleep.

Occassionally missed having a front desk to chat about options in the city however our host was super responsive on WhatsApp and provided good input.

It is important to note that thie hotel can only be paid in Dollars. We looked at the price in ARS here on booking converting it in our head with the blue dollar rate and realized then that the official rate was used, so we paid roughly the double of what we thought we would. The idea of the breakfast to take to the room is very nice, but the breakfast was very sugary, apart from some fruit there wasn't really anything healthy.

Breakfast is not good. Every time someone from another room opened the door there was a really loud sound because the door was shaking.

The quality of build - walls were dirty and not built well, every door handle was loose The ceiling in the hall was leaking If you have terrace room and want privacy, you need to keep the blinds down (no waking up to the view) and there’s a strong reflector turned on the whole night The breakfast was very basic and if you’re late there’s not much left

Room with lake view, they only forgot to mention that there are a few rows of buildings before the lake. Breakfast quite basic The bathroom is so small that the sink is in the room, shower with mold. The cleaning lady was very nice, we saw no other employees or the owner/s during our stay. Overall the worst hotel since I have been using Booking.

Smelly of the hotel, It smelled like poop. Also room didn have toilet paper. When we have get It, stuff asked to return It. And shower worked poor.

The location is perfect. It's very close to the city centre and the view from the room is exquisite. The room and bathroom are very clean. They are also a decent size. The bed is comfortable, and the pillows are fluffy. But what really drew me to this hotel was the view! The view of the lake and the Andes is exquisite! Imagine waking up to that every morning! I am definitely staying here again!

Hotel is a bit over-priced and pictures are over promising. Many things not working (e.g., safe out of batteries, water needs decades to warm up, generally it seems like they don’t care too much about the facility). Everything feels broken and beyond it’s best years.

My room was kind of like a trailer... and all the facilities were too old (entrance door could be broken in any minute, so I had to really carefully treat it). Also the room is small, and the sink is super small, but so close to bed:( It is almost impossible not to spill water when washing your face.

The view left us speechless - nearly the entire length of the room was a window showing us the breathtaking view of the lake and the mountains in the distance. It was a place I actually wanted to stay a while in the luxurious bed with the incredible bedding just looking out to the lake . The breakfast provided was simple but definitely sufficient and the coffee was excellent and strong (there were trays ready to pick with the room number in the kitchen that we could either eat in our room or on the outdoor gorgeous patio). We loved the shower anf had all toiletries provided. While there was no typical hotel reception or owners/staff usually onsite which was a first for me for a hotel, it was very easy to communicate with the owner who was very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind when arriving you would benefit from having internet on your phone as you have to write a whatsapp message to the number on the door once you arrive to get you check in process going. Thank you - we really enjoyed our stay.

The view was spectacular. The bed was extremely comfortable. Nicholas was a superb host. Helped to book us on a rafting tour. Location was great, close by to the centre. Breakfast was good with an endless supply of tea and coffee. Would stay here again if I go back to the beautiful Bariloche.
