Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

some of the morning toast was rather hard on my teeth. Ordinary bread would have been sufficient. It would be nice to have a bit more variety.
All good and lovely to have some fruit.

A supply of cold milk in the big fridge for making a typical cup of British tea.

Everything was perfect. The B&B is very clean and comfortable. We had all the facilities needed and the hospitality was wonderful. We felt at home and Mercedes,the host, is super! She made experience beautiful! She is very kind and always helpful!

Everything was great.
I loved Tango B&B!! Staff were extremely frinedly and helpful - a map and explanation of where things were was provided and very much appreciated. It was a quiet place, the breakfast was excellent (great variety and service). I always felt safe and secure. It was a nice walk for exercise to downtown. If a taxi was needed the staff called one immediately. It was nice to have a tv turned down low with the news in the breakfast room.

Was some what away from main Streets. But, it was not that far to walk.

Staff helped make our stay exceptional. They assisted in finding us a day trip to the National Park and suggestions for around town. The location is a short walk up the hill, but the views are great.

It is far away from the Main Street and at the top of the hill. The hostess didn’t give me the option to change money currency to pesos argentinos for payment. I paid double price in dollars instead of pesos argentinos.
Nice view, comfortable room and an area at the breakfast lounge that you can use to eat your own meals.

The rooms are quite basic and it is about a 15 minute walk to downtown but that suited us just fine.
Vanessa was an amazing host. She didn't speak much English but was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing.

The double bed was literally two matrasses together so forget about being a happy couple. The facilities were very basic. The price was pretty high.

We loved the location, BUT Tango B&B is at the top of the hill, a steep hill! We rather liked the location, staying where "regular" people live. But if you want to be able to walk out of your B&B to restaurants, bars, stores, you want to stay at the bottom of the hill on the main street. Or just be prepared to take a taxi back up to the top of the hill.
Breakfasts were just fine. Nothing elaborate, just eggs. breads, jams, coffee. Just what you expected for the price of the B&B. It was clean. Just a simple place. Not elegant, but we weren't looking for that. Perfect for the price. Kind of funky. Friendly. Clean. Helpful. Loved the location away from the main part of Ushuaia.

The heater for the upstairs room. offering something with protein for breakfast would be a plus

It's located up a steep hill from town so you either need to be relatively fit or take a taxi after excursions/dinners etc. The place could do with a bit of renovating; door handles were coming off.
It's a basic b&b but comfortable for a few nights and with a decent breakfast. Easy to book taxis. We could make ourselves tea which was useful.
