“We’ve got a big room, fit for a family with 2 kids. The surroundings were very nice, I highly recommend a walk in Pochlarn, even for a short stay. The room was very clean, although the furniture looks a bit old, with good breakfast.

“The location is right at the heart of Pöchlarn, in a street with basically no traffic, a 2-minute walk from the Danube shore. It seemed to me like a family-run pension with all of its benefits, like the attention to guests: in the rooms there's a list of local restaurants and bars with phone numbers, opening hours and the time it takes to reach them by foot; a fridge with beer and beverages and a shelf reserved for guests to store their food. The host, Stefan is super friendly. While the rooms are rather on the basic side when it comes to equipment (they have AC though which I find far from being standard in German-speaking countries), they are well maintained and super clean, overall what I would expect from a 3-star place. The breakfast has good variety.”
