How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe location was good, "close" to the city center, but it's a small city so by that logic everything is central.
They made us take a 4 bed room for 2 children, one of 11 months and one of 2 years. The rooms price was 170 euro but the room looked like it was falling apart (see photos). The window above the bed didn't have a handle and of course couldnt properly close, the door handle at the bathroom was falling off and tha bathrom stank and was full of mildew. The staff lady behaved like she had no idea why she was there, when we asked her for help. Booking should look closer into these hotels that list that they have parking. This was the only reason why we chose it, because we have 2 children and can't affort running arround town with luggage going to and from a parking. But even if they say on their page that they do, they don't and you have to go to some other place streets away. The breakfast was scarce and not impressive.

Verified reviewThe location was very convenient and the self check in was easy
The room had no cooling at all (A/C or fan), very stuffy and hot, I visited in June. Opening the window was also not an option because of the noise coming from downstairs on both nights till about 1 a.m. Probably the downside of being on top of a restaurant area. The room was poorly maintained as well.

Verified reviewI would not book again. The location was beautiful and in the middle of the city but starting from that everything went down. At least the sheets and towels were clean. I think the only good thing about this stay was the food. They had some type of cheese, ham, bread, coffee, orange juice, honey, milk and cereal and other basic stuff. It is good that the food was included in the price.
You can’t access the hotel by car and you have to park somewhere else in the city (we found an underground parking space that costed us 20€ at night) When you enter, you face the hotel doors on the right and a bar on the left. Then you go up the round steep stairs so be careful if you have problems with stairs! They said that the rooms were on the 2 floor but in reality you have to climb 1 more floor to get to them because the reception isn’t right at the entry. We got our keys from the lockers at the reception because there was no one there. The rooms were quite small with new but really used furniture that needed some serious cleaning, the bathroom was not properly maintained as well as the bedroom that had dust all over it.. The bed headboard was broken in room 15 and we couldn’t open the window because of it. We had to sleep with the windows open because it was really hot and we heard music and loud screams all night long because of the bar I mentioned earlier which was open 24/24

Verified reviewThe location was really good, very central. Close to the station and town attractions and amenities. Bed mattress was comfortable enough.
Unfortunately the list is long. I don’t usually complain about hotels this much but this one really disappointed us. The bathroom was a complete mess- the shower head didn’t work, the shower adjuster either so it was very uncomfortable to shower. The water flow of the sink was very poor, almost no water came out when being used. All of this could have been fixed easily. Another thing that didn’t work was the towel warmer. The bathroom also lacked basic essentials like shower gel and soap. The BIGGEST PROBLEM for us was that not only was there no air conditioning, but there wasn’t vene a fan. This made the room unbearably hot, leading us to open the windows for fresh air. However, this in turn made the nights very noisy (people talking loudly downstairs could be heard through the open window) and it let bugs in the room! On the bed, there was only a duvet which was too thick for the warm temperature of the room. No other lighter fabrics were provided. Additionally, one of the lampshades in our bedroom didn’t work either. I also felt like the room lacked in cleanliness as when walking barefoot for a few seconds, our feet became very dusty. Underneath the bed was filthy, very dusty with used tissues from previous guests. Also, the bedside tables were sticky, so I’m assuming they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Finally, regarding staff. We wanted to take the bus to Vaduz for the day but when we asked the receptionist using basic English, she didn’t understand what we were saying at all.

Verified reviewhotel in the heart of the old town.
There was no soap in the room. And of course, a sleepless night because of the bar on the first floor.

Poor maintenance in general: lots of things were broken: lamps, shower door, shower handle, bedstand, drawers Pillows were unconfortable No one at the check in, on booking it was not clear is was a "person-less" experience. Only after calling the number on the desk I realized this.

Verified reviewLocation is amazing - right in the city center of the Feldkirch. Reception was not manned at the time of the check-in, but the self check-in was quick and painless.
Bathroom part of the room is lacking any holders for the towels

Verified reviewThe room was clean and comfortable. Checking in after hours was no problem. Excellent location.
The room needed some repairs e.g. bathroom hooks were missing, shower cabinet was a bit wonky and the beds worked but seemed a bit crooked. Nothing major just details that could be better.

We didn’t receive any check in information and there was no one at the hotel to ask or provide help. The room was an attic room with very low eaves which you had to duck under to avoid hitting your head. The toilet seat was broken. Breakfast was very poor with very limited selection and no butter for the bread rolls.
