Absolutely stunning accommodation in the heart of the Alps, with the mountains right at your fingertips! The lodging is new, beautifully clean and modern, yet still holds true to traditional charm. I have to highlight the staff, who were absolutely exceptional—warm, family-like, and went out of their way to help with many things they didn’t have to! We’re planning to come back for more than just one night.

The location and the Gasthaus itself was beautiful. The girls / staff as well.

First, the shower cabin water outlet was full of previous guests' hair so I've had to remove it because the water would spill everywhere during my showering. The second, there was no warm water the second day. Third, the breakfast was way too poor/sparse when compared to the other Austrian, Slovenian, Italian and German breakfasts that I have had; there was only a couple of bread slices with a little ham, cheese, butter and jam; and coffee, but no water (you had to ask for a glass of water; also I don't drink coffee but tea and there was no tea; no eggs or anything cooked/baked, it really should not cost more than 5 Euros. Fourth, the morning I was leaving and doimg check-out, I have not been informed that there were constructions on the only road from the Gasthaus, so it took 30 minutes of my town in the middle of narrow Alpine road, before I could continue my drive back. Also, even that I've sent via Booking private messages all of the check-in details few days before my arrival, the Gasthaus host has informed me that they didn't receive this message, although I have show it on my mobile phone app, so I had to fill the info during my dinner anyway. So the overall experience was pretty bad. It has a great potential with Grossglockner view from the window and balcony, but it is greatly overshadowed by the bad organization of the host (not the friendly girls that work there, they all were great and of service!), poor facilites and cleaning, and especially disappointing breakfast. Hikers need water and concrete food before hiking, you know.

The place is just spectacular, the view, food, and experience is worth every penny. I highly recommend it .Prepare for the road to the top of the mountain, some experience as well 😉.

The only things are breakfast can be more varied. The hotel is not serving shower gel, shampoo.

Incredible views, beautiful nature, clean and cozy hotel with a mountain atmosphere and friendly staff. + adventurous road up to the hotel. :) I highly recommend.
