How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewWe stayed there at summer time and we loved all about that apartment hotel. The separate room for washing clothes was excellent. About breakfast - We didn`t have breakfast from the facility, we did it in our own. All needed equipment was available. The bedrooms were spacious. Also we had a possibility to visit local spa (included in the appartement price) not too far from the facility, that was super great, as far we had super hot summer this time.
There was absolutely nothing that we didn`t like. We really liked it all :) The only minor minus was maybe little space in the kitchen, but as we were just 4 of us (family with 2 children, one is actually adult), then we managed well.

Verified reviewMartin is a great host! The location is great, right near the cable car and close to everything you need (supermarkets, restaurants). The garden is absolutely beatiful during summer, our children were very happy.

Verified reviewGreat location near the base of the mountain and a short walk to the gondola, Spar grocery store, shops and restaurants. Martin, the owner spoke fluent English and could not have been more friendly and accommodating. He loves what he does and makes his guests feel comfortable, welcome and at home. He even welcomed us with his home made brandy which was an unexpected treat. Anytime we had a question, he was readily available via What’s App to answer or even take the time to come meet with us personally at reception. We felt like we were staying in a five star hotel, only better. We shared several friendly chats and we felt like friends at the end of our four night stay. We would return in a heartbeat!

No daily cleaning not enough facilities for kids. No Ac and Un expectable weather.
Thank you for your review and highlighting the quality service of our staff, interior decoration, space with view and general comfort with the highscore of 10. About cleaning options and AC you enquired through whatsapp in advance. We offered you multiple cleaning options on additional costs. Unfortunately you did not make use of one of them on-site. AC we do not offer, but fans and perfect isolation (helps in winter and summer). You made a booking for 3 people but arrived with the total number of 9. We charged the balance for the 6 people, as it is key to apply the same rules to all our guests. We understand that this effects your review on price performance more than the amount of playing facilities for children, which families through the entire summer season were very happy with. 1000m² of garden trampoline, table tennis and especially the children cart race track are great fun. Verified reviewThe location is perfect for Mayrhofen and the wider zillertal area. You are right in the centre of Mayrhofen, less than 2 minutes slow walk to the Penkenbahn lift and bus stop for going to places like the Hintertux glacier. The zillertal train is about 10 mins walk away. The apartment was clean and tidy and felt modern without losing any of the charm you want in an Alps retreat. The apartment is maintained to a high standard. Nothing in the apartment appeared damaged or tired. You couldn't ask for better hosts. Martin was welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. They couldn't do enough for us to make our stay as good as it could be. The apartment gardens were beautiful, and our children enjoyed playing in them with other kids staying there too. Despite being near the centre of town, the gardens feel quiet and secluded. We were genuinely sad to leave. It was one of our best family holidays to date, and we would highly recommend Apart Central to anyone looking to visit the area.

Verified reviewThe apartment location is very good, close from the centre by walking, close from the cable car station and to the river. The apartment has lift and washing room in the basement which is very good . It has also garden in the back and kid play area. Very clean and the staff were very helpful

Verified reviewVery spacious n clean. I like the private sauna in the house as I can relax a lot after skiing and driving. Kids like the playground outside the house. The location is super convenient as you can go up to Penken in 2 mins walk. Shopping and dining also in 5-10 mins walk. Martín is very helpful and respond fast to our needs.

Verified reviewWe were the for Altitude Comedy Festival and did not ski nor did we go snowboarding. But if you would this was perfect, right next to the Penken lift. Als next to the centre part of the village. Though quit during the day and at night. We were very happy with the friendly host Martin. Always ready to help you.

Verified reviewMartin, the owner, is incredibly helpful and always goes the extra mile to assist his customers. He organized a delightful surprise for my wife while we were skiing, complete with a cake, balloons, and decorations. Additionally, when we unfortunately lost our equipment on the mountain, Martin promptly made calls and arranged for it to be sent to us. His genuine desire to help and his warm smile make him a truly exceptional service provider. The diamond apartment was incredibly comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect—close to the main gondola and all the attractions, yet in a quiet and peaceful area. We did laundry every day. There is free parking. The kids really enjoyed there.

Verified reviewLocation was the key. Right next to a cabin lift. The greatest feature was the sauna from where you can see the lifts above. Apartment was spaceous as well. Never felt like 9 people was too much in it.

Verified reviewTwo things stand out about this place. The location and the host. It’s ridiculously close to the main gondola. We appreciated this especially when coming off the mountain tired. Everything else is very close as well. The shop and restaurants and bars, etc. Martin was a super host. His helpfulness made it an exceptional experience.

Verified reviewLocation, location, location! Only a 2 minute walk into town and the main gondola for skiing. Perfect, especially when you have kids complaining about carrying their skies! Extremely spacious apartment over 2 floors. Our 3 teenage boys took over the downstairs with the sauna & we had the upstairs bedroom next to the kitchen. There were 2 spacious patio’s where my husband could smoke so he was happy. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed so we were able to cook a couple of nights. Also at the property was a ski/boot room with heated racks to dry the boots and a communal washing machine and dryer.
Everything was perfect! If I had to make one suggestion then maybe having a safe in the apartment so I won’t hide and forget our passports again!!!

Verified reviewLocation is excellent - a very short walk to the ski lifts and the apres bars. Right by the main drag for all the shops. Apartment very clean and well kept - fab they had Netflix, which helped the down time post skiing. Ski storage very convenient - drying racks to dry off soggy ski stuff. Washing room for washing and drying clothes, so you don't have to take too much.
Only slight grumble was the dishwasher breaking down on the second last day. No-one's fault. Martin did his best to fix it. One of those things really.
