Hotel is an absolute gem. Staff are lovely, location is great, rooms are fabulous and the attention to detail all throughout the hotel is very high standard. 5 night stay was excellent, restaurant has a great choice of fantastic food, and fab Austrian wines. Pool was also a bonus as were the treatments available (foot reflexology was another level) This hotel is in a great location for summer biking and hiking. Highly recommend this hotel … thanks to Astrid and all the family and staff for a wonderful stay. Definitely see you again sometime ☺️

United KingdomWe didn't dislike anything; everything was perfect in its own right. If anything, the only downside was having nothing at all to complain about.
Hotel Astrid offers a modern and comfortable experience with a range of excellent facilities. The spa provides a selection of treatments that cater to both relaxation and rejuvenation, while the pool offers lovely mountain views that enhance the overall ambience. With easy access to the slopes, this hotel is ideal for skiing enthusiasts. The dining options are impressive, serving consistently good food that satisfies every palate. Adding to the appeal is the friendly, welcoming staff who make every guest feel at home. Overall, Hotel Astrid represents great value, and I look forward to my next stay.

CanadaWe had to leave early and no one was at the front desk for our payment. Luckily our daughter and son-in-law paid for our stay. I believe payment should have been taken upon arrival with any incidental charges paid upon checkout. We did receive an email request from Astrid asking us for our updated credit card information, prior to our arrival, which I provided. Therefore I assumed the room had been charged to our card. When we left, I messaged our daughter and asked her to pay any incidental charges (city taxes) and was surprised when we found out nothing was paid. Please consider payment upon check in.

HungaryThe room was dark, lack of fresh air even with fully opened doors. Not even basic kitchen equipment like a kettle or a nespresso mashine. However there is a fancy designer fridge completely empty with no purpose. The breakfast was far below average, the worst we had in this region and we came here often since 6 years. The omlette was so bad and fully covered with oil that we were unable to eat it. When we were asking for a cocoa they brought us 1dl hot water with some powder in a fancy chinese. I did not eveb understood this. A cocoa is simple enough: milk and cocoa powder. They could not even produce it when I explained in details. The landlord was serving us in the bar one night. He was very rude. He pretended not to speak even basic English. They had a home made game on the table. When my 7 years old was asking very politely in English how to play with it he said he has no idea in German and left her there. I felt really offended. The sauna area is nice however they only have 1 small finnish sauna. However the sauna does not operates only from 3pm, so there is no chance to swim and spa in the morning just after the hiking and biking and they also close the spa facility at 7pm very early. Alltogether this is nothing I would expect from this hotel. Not even a 3 star.
Great location, nice view on the mountains. Bike storage room is very handy.
