I liked the host location and that i was able to hike stepping out of the house. Just wha ti was looking for.

Note that there is no shared kitchen access if you stay in the budget single room. There is only one bathroom for the shared rooms and sometimes you have to wait for many people. The bathroom is very very small. Room was very very small so it may be hard to find a place to open your bags.

Lara and Norbert were super friendly and helpful when I had issues with transport. This really made my stay possible and significantly better than it would have otherwise been. Great location for walking trails very close by and the cottage is in a peaceful surrounding. Everything kept clean and tidy and the washing machine is very handy. Wifi was very good and I had stable internet connection for a video call meeting. Can recommend the walks Brunnach Berglauf (which goes up to the lift station and then cuts through the grazing pastures back through the forest) and Rote Burg Runde (along the ridge at the top near the station) which can be combined.

The rooms were a bit smaller than I imagined from the pictures, but it did not matter. We had everything we needed and with such a great area around, we didn't stay too much inside anyway.

The location was perfect for us, just a few min away from the ski slopes. Loved the huge garden and all the toys and bikes for kids. My daughter had a lot of fun. It's great that they have a charging station on site, right in the parking place, with a cable and a super transparent and easy measuring system.

Nockalm Cottage is a fantastic winter getaway. The cozy, home like atmosphere and stunning snow-covered mountain views create a magical setting. It's an ideal spot for skiing and snowboarding, with excellent slopes nearby. Norbert, the host, is incredibly welcoming and ensures that we got all what we needed, thanks to Him it was a memorable stay. A perfect place to relax, enjoy winter sports, and experience the beauty of the Mountains

Everything was good.

The Nockalm Cottage is located at 1300m elevation, 5 minutes walking from the cable car in St. Oswald and also the starting point for multiple hiking trails. Though the studio is small, it is very well equipped with all amenities (thank you for the coffee machine :-)). The communication with Norbert was excellent, he was very responsive and willing to help. I would definitely consider staying again if I am in the area.

This place is really magic. The position, the guests, the lovely apartments, the nature we were surrounded by.. everything was really amazing and beyond. We had a wonderful Christmas time here, and for sure looking forward to come back ASAP. Norbert and Lara have been really kind and helpful whit us for everything. Thank you again😊

Calm and relaxing location with infinite possibilities of hiking, well equipped room, friendly staff, great value for the money. Nockalm cottage has everything for an authentic Austrian summer vacation. :)

Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, nice and clean appartment. We didn't miss simply anything. The host provided all the information about points of interest like tracks for climbing and biking and thermal bath etc and both of them were very pleasant. We enjoyed great time in the location.

Our room had direct access to the hall and we could hear people and children talking early in the morning. This woke us up every morning.

Location was really good, very close to two lifts. The apartment has everything we could possibly need. The place has a special place to store your ski equipment. They even have a place to dry and warm up your ski boots.

The only thing that we didn’t like was the full ash tray of cigarettes on the balcony.

The property is modern and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. Location was an easy walk to the ski lift.

Great location. Ski lifts near by. Very friendly owners. Spacious rooms and very clean. the property had everything you’d need from pans to a washing machine. kids and pet friendly. highly recommended!
