Nothing really- I guess I should mention the slight inconvenience of our private bathroom being down half a flight of stairs- but it was still in the apartment- and had a great shower. Also getting our suitcases up to the top floor- but not a problem.

Obertraun was a lovely option for us- we had 2 motorcycles and a car which were no issue parking immediately across from Haus Bellevue. We took the little electric powered boat across to Hallstatt which was a lovely way to arrive there. Can use bus too. The local resort at Obertraun was handy for the minimart at their reception too. The 2 bed apartment was huge with big bedrooms too and nice deck. Right next to the train station - no noise issues and handy too. Just sorry we only stayed one night. Good comms from Andrea.

The localization is Obertraun is great as Hallstatt is very crowed. Very close to the train station but we cannot hear anything, it has a backery and pizzaria close by. We made our own dinner in the kitchen and had all you need. Also you can easily walk to Hallstatt as it not the far from the last Parking area. The owner is very friendly and replies very quickly to our messages. I definitely recommend the place.

We had a delightful stay I highly recommend for other families, I wish we had stayed longer. The property was full of charm and character, it had everything we needed to suit my families needs. The location was perfect our host was lovely we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. No extra charge for early check in or for the private parking. The property is surrounded by so much beauty and the fresh mountain air, I had the best nights sleep.

What I liked the most was the landlord, who is very kind, always smiling, and ready to help with anything. Of course, the apartment was wonderful – spacious, bright, comfortable, the kind of place where one could easily stay even for a month.

The kitchen could have had a bit more amenities as there were not that many pots and pans, but I was only there for one night so not much to complain about, and even though it was shared I was lucky that the other guests were not using it that night.

Obertraun is an amazing base if you want to visit Hallstatt. This property, as a matter of fact, is in a very good location. We arrived to Obertraun by train, and the property is only a few steps away from Obertraun Dachsteinhöhlen Bahnhof. It is also just a few steps away from a bus stop (Obertraun Abzw Bahnhof Dachsteinhöhlen, near the church). From the bus stop, it is only a 6 minute journey on the bus to get to the main bus stop for Hallstatt tourists (Hallstatt Lahn). From someone that has already visited Hallstatt before, I would actually recommend people to stay here since you can get to Hallstatt very early and beat the crowds that come from elsewhere as part of daytrips from Salzburg, Vienna etc (and accomodation in Hallstatt tends to be more expensive) The hospitality we received from Andrea was also top notch. We had a lot of luggage, but Andrea was very kind to let us store it there for no charge. She was kind and very responsive whenever we had any questions. We were also arriving late to Obertraun, but Andrea kindly arranged for self pickup of the keys, which was straightforward. Obertraun in itself is also a nice place to wander about and enjoy the beauty of Austrian nature. If you decide to to the skywalk while in Hallstatt, you can see Obertraun in the distance, surrounded by beautiful mountains :)

The host lady was very kind to us. The room price was too high for us, but that is because the area is a tourist attraction. We stayed on the ground floor. Above us were children running and jumping causing an unacceptable rumbling sound from the ceiling. In such a case, we suggest to the host to rent out the upper floor instead of the bottom one. Everything else was fine and met our expectations.

Obetraun is a sleepy village, nothing interesting there.

It's more than 150 year old house that has undergone multiple renovations. We stayed in the 2 bedroom loft, which was on the second floor., accessible by stairs. Our apartment was huge, well furnished and had all the necessary equipments. The bathroom was. modern , at a lower level than the rooms.. From balcony we had the view of Obertraun station. There was ample parking space. The host stays in the house in the ground floor , very pleasant and energetic lady. It's a great place if you want to visit Hallstat via public transport. Both the bus stop and train station are less than 100 metres from the house. Also the ropeway to five fingers & salt mines is at a walkable distance from the house.

Beautiful huge apartment with scenic view. The view from the balcony is amazing. Very clean and well maintained. Host was very nice and friendly. It really felt just like home. We had a amazing time and really wish to book this place again. Parking is available too. Hallstatt is just 7 mins drive. The apartment is equipped with all the necessary facilities.

We are group of 5 gus to stay here. Nice place. Transport to Hallstat very convenient can take bus. If you want to enjoy the view of the small then can walk to Hallstat. If you have a car, then can drive through to Hallstat. We are parrking our rental at Park 4..
