We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

HungaryThe owner wanted to charge us for an extra 50€, 2 days after our leave because the guest folio was penned. It was already penned when we arrived, but the owner claimed that their cleaning staff (I doubt they have a staff because they live there on the first floor) always checks everything. They checked everything so well that we found a small plush toy on the balcony under the table when we arrived. So if you stay there, make sure you take a photo of any minor issues you find! I also disliked the communication of the owner, it was too much and it was a red flag when or trip was coming. I got at least 10-12 messages before and during our 5 days stay. All were kind but too much. They notified us multiple times about potential extra charges, penalties. Clearly a red flag, I have never had a similar experience on any our trips. It's also weird that we saw multiple times the owners or their staff, but they never approached us, rather hide away. Every communication was over messages. Top sum it up: the guesthouse is exceptional, our stay was pleasant, but I had bad feelings all the time because of their threats for penalties that turned reality later.
The location is perfect for relaxation. The apartman is tidy, comfortable. The whole house and garden are well maintained and nice. We really liked to stay there.

SlovakiaWe spent perfect winter stay at Auszeit. We fully appreciated easy check in, fully equiped apartment with kitchen, relaxing privite sauna ( each apartment can book 1.5 hour daily ). The apartment is located in cosy ,quiet village, within driving distance to ski areals , furthemore there is XC ski track next to the house. Definitely worth recommending.

The apartments were modern, very clean and comfortable. The kitchens were very well equipped. The sauna area was beautiful, clean and cozy. Tea was also offered in the sauna. We received a delicious chocolate on our arrival (put on our beds). The communication with the personnel was smooth and quick.

IsraelThey charged 150euro without any notice, for supposed damage to the kitchen that we did not do. Once they charged they did not contact us, refused to answer our messages, and threatened us with more fees (all the while speaking in a very rude manner). When I tried to understand why do they think we caused the damage, they cut ties, refusing to explain. In lack of a better term, they are scammers. They also charged the tourist tax twice for no reason and would not reimburse. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had on booking
