Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThe parking area and the cost , I thought it was free, they should indicate the price , which I find honestly very expensive .
I loved that it was central and 2 minutes walk to the most awesome mall.

North MacedoniaNo fridge in the room.
We loved the hotel. It is located literally in a shopping mall, close to the coolest Danube beaches and with good connection to the city centre and airport. All was new, room was spatial and clean, breakfast was good and staff nice. The complimentary tea and apples in the lobby are a nice touch, too.

RomaniaA less pleasant aspect for a business trip was that for rooms on the second floor one has to pass through the breakfast room on the way out. That space was crowded every morning with big tourist groups, there were lots of mixed smells, and I had to navigate around people and plates of food (there is only one path in/out and people are queing in the way). Also, when I booked the room I chose a King with a separate bathroom, and coffee/tea maker, according to the description on the website. That was supposed to be a superior room type (the first level is “Comfort”). I got a room with an open bathroom (I don’t like steam coming in the bedroom, especially in summer) and had to insist at the reception that was not compliant. The young lady on duty found another room with a closed bathroom and I moved there. The coffee/tea maker was actually an electric kettle, which was listed additionaly on the website. Apparently the descriptions are not accurate.
This was not my initial choice, as I booked the Arcotel next to the UN building, but I was notified it was undergoing renovation and I had to relocate. However, this hotel is next to the Donauzentrum mall (many options for shopping & dining), very close to the metro line (quick access to the city centre), and next to the bus stop that goes to the airport. I liked the laid back atmosphere, the overall facilities, the quiet room, and the very nice staff. I also appreciated the flexibility in requesting cleaning if desired, and having non stop access to some snacks and drinks in the lobby (there is no fridge in the room). There are plenty of good choices for breakfast.

SloveniaI had problems to accommodate my pillow to my needs :) In exchange to a parking in the hotel’s parking garage I recommend some P+R parking near metro U1 red line, also hotel staff is kind in proposing suitable options.
Perfect location near Dunauzentrum shopping mall, practically next door/same complex, so you have plenty of options (including some good food). Walking distance to metro U1 (red line). Parking at the hotel is rather expensive, but there are plenty of reasonable priced options close. For arrival-departure there are parking’s available in front of the hotel. Staff is super friendly, good place for meetings as they have suitable well equipped meeting rooms. Coffee breaks with snack were fabulous.

United KingdomI like strong powerful showers and the water pressure was a bit too weak for my liking. I had a large double bed but strangely there wasn’t one single cover, just two separate covers. But my main gripe was having no refridgerator in the room. The hotel explained that you can only take cold drinks directly from the main fridge in the reception area. When the mercury is 30 degrees Celsius every day, that sucks! Guests should be given the option of storing cold drinks in their room. In my view, the hotel should really reconsider this policy and invest in this, as it takes away from the enjoyment of what is an otherwise excellent place to stay.
The location is ideal. Right next to a giant shopping mall, with easy transport links to explore the city. There’s even an airport bus that stops in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is clean, cosy and the room was a decent size with a large comfortable bed. The breakfast is also really good.
